Ra's al Ghul vs Aragorn

These two youthful looking old men battle it out in the woods of Lothlórien, because Ra's killled Arwen and now Aragorn is bloodlusted, they begin 15 ft apart and Aragorn has his standard gear (knife, bow and Anduril) and Ra's has a scimitar and a Bolas, who wins?

15 feet is too close for the bow. 50 feet and I'll take the bow and arrow for the win.

@theraclese: 15 ft? Bow gives no advantage now...it's almost useless. Make it 100 yards at least.

50 ft still would not be a big enough distance for the Bow to be a huge advantage over someone who can aim dodge bullets. Think about how fast an NFL WR or CB is, then realize Ra is a peak human from a comicbook is that much, more faster. 50 feet is only 16.6 Yards...a fast NFL player can run the 40 yards dash in 4.3 secs. Ra's would do 50 feet in 1 sec or less, the bow is still meaningless at that distance.

You are of course correct. Since I watched Batman Begins last night, I defaulted to the movie version, where I feel it is a closer fight.

@thorverine: Oh OK. Well Aragon would God stomp Nolan Ra's. Aragon is good enough from book and movie feats to fight Comicbook Ra's, but it has to be at least 100 yards or more for a bow to make a difference.

Aragorn, he's more skilled, Gandalf describes him as the best swordsman of the age.
