I think Raiden for some odd reason... Perhaps Thor could be a better match.
Isn't Raiden a god? I like Iron Man and all, but I think IM will get man handled.

Well if this fight was in Outworld. Iron Man would win no problem. I dont know what Tony Starks could do with Raiden in the Earthrealm, since he is an Elder God of Thunder.
Which Raiden is this?
The God?
Or the once girly-faced panzy without a really good theme song to make him the ultimate badass who became a badass with a suit being a wannabe Grey Fox?

first
Iron Man. He fought stronger foes than Raiden. Raiden is just a thunder god who had trouble dealing with mortals.
Depowered Raiden lost to 2 sorcerors who were both amped up.
Depowered Raiden looses to Iron Man. Full powered Raiden fries IM from inside his suit or sends him to the Netherrealm and IM dies.Spidey is better than ironman....Raiden stomps.
Spider-Man has been fodderized by Iron Man at least 5-6 times.
As for this battle, Raiden can't hurt Iron Man since Tony can just absorb his electricity and amp himself in order to one-shot Raiden.
How are you going to oneshot someone who can go intangible ?
@nope111: With sonic attacks. He can still hear while he's intangible. Besides, unless his body can automatically become intangible on its own, he might not be able to react to Tony's repulsors and phase in time before the repulsor hits him. Faster have failed to react to them. Iron Man isn't losing here.

Sonic attacks will do nothing but annoy him There is no longer a physical body to harm. And his intangibility looked pretty instant from the scans that ive seen.
@nope111: His sonics are designed to put the brain into shutdown. Does he not need his brain? They have taken out Cannonball (who has tanked Gladiator's best hits) and paralyzed the Juggernaut.
Also, you kind of contradicted yourself by saying that the sonics would annoy him, but then going on to say that since he has no physical body he can't be harmed. Which is it? Does he get annoyed or can he not be harmed? Is he fast enough to phase through a light speed repulsor ray?

I guess i was wrong.
He must have some way of hearing through a spiritual means.Still that doesnt doing anything to him.
Ironman has to position his body to shoot it. Unless you think ironman has lightspeed arm movement.

His arm movement isn't light speed, but it doesn't have to be.
Unless you have feats of him resisting sound attacks, we assume that they'll work. That's the way it is.
Just like we would assume that electricity would fry Iron Man if he didn't have feats that suggested otherwise.
