Raiden and Jetstream Sam vs Dante and Vergil

These are Dante and Vergil from Devil May Cry 3, not the reboot.

Round 1 is a normal Fight, Sam isn't fighting seriously.

Round 2 Dante and Vergil activate their Devil's Trigger and Raiden turns into Jack the Ripper Sams takes things serious.

Location: A dry-land

MGR team for round 1.

Dunno bout round 2.

As much as I like Raiden, the Sons of Sparda stomp in both of the rounds.

@deus: Raiden and Sam have comparable reaction time and combat speed to the twins. Not only that, but they are also vastly stronger than the twins who are probably not above 200 tons in range, whereas the cyborgs are up to a thousand tons. A few hundred thousand tons if MGS4 is included.

Bumps. Sparda boys take this. As much as I love Sam. He goes down after Raiden.

Vergil is far, far out of his league. So is Dante if we're just talking about his teenage years, but at his strongest Dante solos. Otherwise either of the Cyborgs solo.

IIRC DMC3 Dante and Vergil didn't have any comparable feats, other than that ability that let's them see time slowed down?

@no_one_in_particular: That shows he can parry bullets, which shows he's on par with their reaction speed. Raiden is still stronger (I think) and before he became a Cyborg, I think he was already blocking bullets and being blurs to soldiers as a human.

Not only can he parry bullets, but he can lift one in the ait cut it into several pieces and then land them on his spacer, that's ridiculous, raiden has never shown that much accuracy before. In dmc 3, Vergil and Dante were stopping the rain from hitting the floor with there sword swings. I would argue that vergil is faster. on this basis (raidens probably a lot stronger though)

If the helicopters in MGS spin ~10 times a second, and Raiden can slice it ~ten times a second, he can attack greater than 100 times a second if you consider that they're most likely a lot faster than what we have.

Also, for Raiden it takes ~four seconds (from his perspective using blade mode) for a helicopter blade to spin once. For anyone else it's 10 times a second. He can see over 40x slower than us :O

Now that I think about it that makes DmC seem faster.

So minimum is 100 slices per second, 40x slower perception.

Maximum is seeing and hitting faster than mach one.

that rain feat most likely isn't canon since it never actually happens plus it narrated from a person that never witnessed the fight at all.

To be fair, lady never narrates it in description, and says that's what's happened. She is instead narrating about there rivalry for each other. I had always presumed she was narrating while scenes of actual events actual evens, and that sword clashing was happening between gameplay. It just seems odd to me that lady would exaggerate about the fight, she would be giving no reason to do this. But maybe your right, im not sure. Its not the craziest spped feat in devil may cry anyway.

I'm a give it to raiden and sam their just to strong and durable.
