Quicksilver vs. Velocity

A speedster battle that might actually be debatable!

I just googled Mach 5 and apparently it's somewhere between 3- and 5-thousand mph. Which would actually make her faster.

Hm yeah...I'm no doctor, but isn't 10,000 mph more than double of Mach 5?

Don't think Quicksilver is faster than mach 5 its just the writers do not know any math they just write down big numbers, so it can sound cool. Like in the recent Avengers vs X-men #2 when Quicksilver is coming to fight Magneto they give out some random numbers and say its at mach 5 speeds, but if you actually calculate his speed its no where need mach 5. Writers just are in consistent with how fast he can really go probably because they just don't know better.

So going with that Quicksilver is mach 5, Velocity should win seeing she moves at roughly mach 13 faster than Quicksilver.

Who says that's his top speed, that's just a speed he has been recorded moving at...

That's the only one I could find, I don't know much about her so I could not tell you for certain, but Velocity and Quicksilver should be even in speed, if not Velocity being faster than him.

@Floopay: Mach 5 may not be Quicksilver top speed, but it is what has been consistent in his writing. He may very well be capable of going faster, but we don't know that until it is shown. We can't just speculate his top speed, so we have to go with what we got. Unless their is a scan showing he can go faster that I don't know about?

Quicksilver. I would think he's faster and he isn't shy to be a little deceptive...and play around with his prey before he destroys her.

One of these lifetimes, I am going to work on my Velocity scans...but yeah, I'll take Velocity. She can throw a mach 5 punch without breaking her hand.
