Quicksilver vs Human Torch
Takes place in New York at 1pm, no prep and Johnny cant go nova, they start 2 blocks away and both are going for the K.O. or kill. wo wins and ya reasons
Wow...time travel and duplication? Those are listed in Quicksilver's abilities on his page. That would help quite a bit, but I dont see how he can even touch Torch without injuring himself...
I'll say Torch would win.
"@weapon x badazz: which version of quicksilver? "
Sorri peeps it tha 1 wiv super speed, not the time travelin 1
Torch wouldn't be able to lay a finger on Quicksilver. For that reason alone I'd give it to Quickie. I don't know how exactly he'd manage to attack Torch, but I figure he can move fast enough that flames won't harm him, at least as much.
It all depends on whether Johnny starts on the ground or in the air. If he's on the ground and not flamed on already, QS will speedblitz him before his brain even registers that the fight has begun. If Johnny starts in the air, QS will be unable to touch him, and Johnny will win with a good old-fashioned nova burst.

Whoops. Just noticed the OP said no nova. In that case, QS could easily avoid any flame Torch sends his way, then wait until Torch is too tired to flame on any longer, or until he makes a mistake and gets near a building or surface where QS can reach him.
Quicksilver wins.
Cant Quicksilver run in a circle, creating a vortez to bring Johnny down than pound the mud outta him?
QS for the win. With only 2 blocks starting distance, and assuming Johnny starts on the ground, Pietro could blitz KO Johnny before he can react.
Johnny could still release omni-directional heat explosions or increase the heat around his body to such a high level that Quicksilver would burn himself if he punched him or got too close. Is Johnny already airborne and already said Flame On?

torch melts his boot to the floor then uses this time to knock him out not to mention torch is pretty damn fast as well and can fly.
Quicksilver runs in a circle creating a vacuum. No air, no fire. Human Torch could still win if he goes nuts quickly.

He could run around him and make a vortex to suck out the air making it so he can't flame on. Can johnny flame on in places with no air i forget?
