Quicksilver vs Flash

We ALL know what to expect. “Flash is gonna win because he's way faster and he's a better fighter”. Now what if instead of using the comic book incarnation we use the one from different media? Yep, that's right. This battle will be featuring both films Quicksilver and CW Flash. Do you think this will be a different thing? You're about to find out.

SCENARIO:

One day, Pietro and Barry became friends. They had such a good friendship. Untill one day, Peitro realized that Barry was better than him in every way. Such as powers, abilities, skills, even life. As they were in a trip in Los Santos, Pietro had the idea to get rid of him, and he would be the only good speedrunner left on Earth. When Pietro attempted to get rid of Barry, Barry saw that coming. And Barry was with a shocked face, not believing what has happened to his speedrunning friend. Of course, Barry wouldn't let Pietro harm him. Luckily for Barry and even Pietro, Pietro still has morals for Barry, and that would probably make him lose...

Neither incarnation of Quicksilver is actually a match.

This has been done for.

Fastest speed I saw in Rise of Ultron put him somewhere around Mach 20.

Fastest speed in Days of Future Past I think is somewhere around Mach 30 or so.

Firstly: RISE of Ultron? I forgive le mistake and i ain't even gonna complain I just want it to be noted I laughed quite handily.

Ok, where in AoU did QS go anywhere near Mach... I'll say Mach 3. Where did he even BREAK THE SOUND BARRIER?

DOFP going mach 30? I'm dead. When did he reach Mach ONE?

I wanna hit 3 big points.

#1: LOL Rise of Ultron. rofl

#2: QS in AoU at mach TWENTY? He wasn't remotely close to Mach ONE.

#3 QS in DOFP was at least Mach... 5 at best. Not 30.

What directors say and what is shown on screen are rarely one and the same. Most of them don't do basic mathematics.

Hawkeye's arrow in Age of Ultron should have been traveling somewhere around 180-250 fps, I'm assuming his bow is shooting a bit faster than your average archers. In one scene, you can see Hawkeye's arrow clearly go from visibly traveling to disappearing in less than the blink of an eye. Considering Quicksilver was off scree, that would mean he traveled at least 40 feet (assuming he started 5 feet away from the screen, and ended 5 feet after the screen). Which would mean he would have to travel about 20 feet in the time it took it to travel less than two feet (in order to make the snatch and not be seen by the human eye, he'd be hitting less than 1/10th of a second to travel through the entire peripheral vision of the human eye, which means less than 1/100th of a second making the snatch). Putting his speed somewhere around 4,000 fps, or Mach 3.5.

But his fastest feat is actually traveling into an office, past a shooter, snatching a bullet out of the air, placing it back on the table behind someone, and then traveling back to the front of the office. Essentially, in the time it takes a bullet to travel 2 feet, he has to travel somewhere around 8 feet, start and stop, and then back to his starting point. Which means his top speed would have to be around (assuming the bullet was traveling Mach 1) Mach 8 or 10. So my first estimation was wrong, but I would have to see some of these scenes again for a more accurate assessment.

DoFP

This one's easy. Basically we should assume the bullets fired before he goes full speed go about 250 m/s, which is a good speed to assume for a revolver. He doesn't actually start moving until they are about 6 inches away from the gun, and in the time it takes them to move another 4 feet, he's already run around the room twice, and stopped and started 3-4 times. Making the total distance he moved around 40 feet (you have to base this around the bullets in the background during the scene). Assuming this was one even acceleration and deceleration, that would put his speed around Mach 14.7. However, we know the bullet was constantly moving, and that he had stopped and been decelerating for a good portion of this. So we have to assume he was stopped about 25% of the time, and that he was accelerating and decelerating far longer than he was actually moving at his top speeds. This puts him comfortably in the Mach 21-23 speeds. These stats are taken about 1 minute into this video.

To top it off, neither needed any time to reach their top velocities, they almost instantaneously hit their top speeds.

You still wouldn't have a fair fight.

Your best bet would have been to trap Flash via PIS since the general consensus is, he's at the very least unskilled and borderline stupid with his speed.

Without it, this Quicksilver, as usual, doesn't stand a chance.

Quicksilver slaughterstomps in each round. He can run 3 times the speed of light, can manipulate sound, and is completely invulnerable to any types of damage. This is a HUGE mismatch

Flash wins all rounds, even CW Flash is fast enough to travel back in time, which would require light-speed movement.

The fight against DOFP Quicksilver might be the only one where Flash has some trouble.

Btw, DOFP Quicksilver is faster than AOU Quicksilver, he should be in the race.

Quicksilver constantly brags if the flash was real, he could beat him in a race. Scarlet witch, however, will never tell him that in an alternate universe, it was actually a tie.
