Quicksilver should win this in 2 seconds, there is no way Captain America can tag him if he doesn't throw his shield 50 times the speed of a bullet which he can't since he is just a peak human.
Quicksilver should blitz, but he probably won't. Cap should take the slight majority unless Pietro plays it smart (he rarely does). If he is smart quicksilver wins every time.
Even if captain america threw his shield then the speed of quicksilvers running would toss it back towards him because of the air he creates by running.
But you CAN'T disregard PIS with Quicksilver. He INVENTED it, it is part of who he is.

Well the 1st one, what is he trying to do? Running into Hulk's arm? It's the WORST place to run into, and the same as running into caps shield. Why not bother at least to run behind Hulk and mack him in the neck? Because he is stupid!
2nd one - QS is running circles around Spidey to create a cyclone and drain out the oxygene. Goo tactic! But why does he run close enough so Spidey can touch him, why does he not foresee the tactic of strettching out an arm? Bcause he is dumb! ALL he had to do was run in a circle big enough so Spideys arm can't reach him.
PIS is all QS does, at least as I know the character :) He is AWSOME in the movies though.

Why do you post low balling speed feats of QS? You are targetting a much slower Quik silver one from long ago. You even posted a scan of cyclops getting a lucky shot while QS not looking. You think it would be okay from some to post a weaker CPT America from back in the days fighting a now QS. Better yet show low ball feats of CPT A? We could easily post current feats and movie feats and drown out your lowballing. Posting older scans of character on a low lower level is not cutting here. He could easily Grab CPT A slaughter him easily.

His superpower has always been strong, it's the way he uses it that isn't, and that's because of his personality. If he had a Batman-style personality, cap would have not a chance, zero none.
So yeah because the power, he can beat Cap, but my money is on that he messes it up, because he does not use his power well. And Cap is master strategist and all that, he'd find a way to take advantage of QS personality issues.
Dunno if he became more mature and "finish the job"-ish lately, that would change things.
for all intents and purposes, quicksilver could beat 95% of all human super hero characters on marvel earth today by kicking them in the crotch 100,000 times before they can react, but that doesnt mean it will happen. skillset wise quicksilver should take it, but writing would dictate that cap takes it
