I haven't seen the movie yet, but I wanted to make the battle first.
VS
Who wins?
As of the pilot Flash can't even break the sound barrier.
Quicksilver lols at the sound barrier.
...pretty sure the pilot isn't out yet.

Finally, Quicksilver beats a Flash
Quicksilver could beat Season 1 of JL Flash. He couldn't catch up to a van.

Yeah, he's shaping up to be pretty pathetic power wise.
I didn't watch DOFP so I can't really comment.
Quicksilver was insanely fast, you should see the movie, it's fracking awesome.
I don't know if Flash is gonna be pathetic, I mean it's only the pilot, who knows how fast he'll be at the end of season 1.
@beware_my_power: I seriously doubt they will ever have Flash go lightspeed. As it stands now CW Flash is featless, so...
Don't you worry, he'll be overpowered again... just you wait
*rocks back and forth in a fetal position*

Not from actual canon trailers. Which Flash has broken the sound barrier, has a healing factor, extinguished a tornado by running against it etc.
Damn reply buttons; anyways I was surprised that they even allowed Barry to break the sound barrier. His perceptions didn't look to fast. It looked like things only slowed down to about three-fourths of their speed. C'mon DC, make him OP, not Wally West OP, but at least hypersonic. Would be cool if they reenact that part in the comics where he is plucking assault rifle bullets from the air.
Somehow I knew someone was going to make this thread even though all we've seen is a trailer.
For now, QS easily wins. However I'm fairly confident Barry will win eventually since the pilot was essentially him just getting and learning about his powers which implies he will get more powerful as they go on.
Quicksilver saw bullets going at about 2-3mph meaning he was at least 50-100 times the speed of sound (just a guess) so yeah he wins against featless flash

Those two doesn't imply each other. He saw bullets moving at 2-3mph while we see them moving at 600mph, means his reflexes were 200-300 times better than ours. I'll put his reflexes in microseconds.

Quicksilver lols at the sound barrier.
That's not true. Barry was shattering car glasses by running past them. Means he was going above Mach 1. Even when they were measuring his speed, he went past 700mph.
On Topic: Pietro wins by feats.
How fast d ' you guys reckon QS was? For me, it's hard to tell...
Side note: in the extended trailer, right after they measured his speed, Barry broke the sound barrier. Look closely.

How doesn't he? He is much faster and we only have a trailer to go on with Barry. A trailer of the pilot when he is still learning and developing his powers.
This thread shouldn't even be made yet.
After seeing the Flash trailer and Days of Future past I can say that Quicksilver is definitely, considerably faster. QS is RIDICULOUSLY fast in that movie, probably what the Flash will end up being.
@rbt: 700mph is not breaking the sound barrier, the sound barrier is 761mph, good catch on the glass though.
Above someone asked how fast he is so I'm going to give him an example or two, there might be a couple spoilers.
In the movie there were several shots fired (maybe up to 10, I can't remember); QS has time to look around, put his head phones on, run around the room and cause chaos (knocking hats off, tasting soup, disarming the men, putting their arms in a position to make them fall, etc.), he then returns to move the bullets so that they don't hit anyone. Finally he sits back and watches his handy work.
If I remember correctly, you couldn't see him move but I'll have to watch again to be sure.

Yes he is very fast. Even the 9mm the guards were using fire rounds at supersonic speeds. (i believe its like 900 fps)
@fallschirmjager: super impressive, I think they made him too fast though. I'm guessing the Avengers version will be more down to Earth as well as more edgy.
Seeing a speedster in action was amazing. He was slightly too powerful but it doesn't matter because how how cool that scene was
I honestly can't see how flash can top that in the cinematic universe... unless they reenact when wally rescued half a million people from a nuke.
Quicksilver seems faster in the trailer of xmen days of future past but i didn't watch the movie yet.
@knightsofdarkness2: Watch it, Now.
Get up, walk out the door get in the car, drive to the theater, buy a ticket and watch the glorious destruction.
@jacthripper: Yeah, I'm gonna watch the film soon but first i need to watch xmen first class and the wolverine. :P
@knightsofdarkness2: well worth the watch and IMO easily the best X-Man movie yet
