Question vs SherlockHolmes vs Rorschach vs Batman vs The Spirit

Batman once deduced a rainbow monster that shot colored beams of varying effects that attacked Gotham came from a volcano and could only be defeated in one, based on no information what so ever. Greatest. Detective. Ever.

For real you all know Sherlock runs this with skill, but hes cheating too. Although Batman may have computers, Holmes has his drug addiction. It does even out the playing field a bit considering hes not always going without his own...resources. in fact many times hes been made out to be somewhat reliant on the stuff. With that in mind, I say Bats for both.

Sherl and Sherl. There is no question about it. He's certainly the most brilliant detective of the lot (since we're not keeping Monk or Jane). More experienced Bruce maybe, but I'd like to keep Sherlock's deductive abilities above his.

And I definitely like Sherl more than Bruce as a detective. I love Bruce, but Sherl is outta this world.

There is a very good reason that Sherlock Holmes is considered to be the greatest detective in the world of literature. If he has a peer in that regard, I'd go for Hercule Poirot over any of these guys. Batman is a good detective, but he is a magnitude of talent beneath either Sherlock or Poirot.
