He'd have to get to him first, and last I checked Flash doesn't fly.

Last I checked, fighters start pretty close to each other and Quasar isn't nearly fast enough to fly away before the Flash can get to him.

Like I said, this battle is over before Quasar has a chance to react.

Oh I thought this was gonna be a race, I'd say Quasar because he jumps into the Quantum zone and then back out. In a fight I might have to say Flash because he is used to Green Lantern which Quasar is kinda similar to. Meanwhile Quasar isn't used to fighting speedsters so he probably won't immediately generate a force field.

Nope. But it'd make it more of a challenge.

Flash can still throw things at the speed of light, steal speed, phase through anything Quasar throws at him, etc.

Quasars constructs are pretty weak

Sometimes. Sometimes, they're good enough to hold off the Hulk and a bunch of other characters at the same time.

But even then, Flash just vibrates through them.
