Storm without a doubt.  Quake is wayyyyyy to inexperienced to deal with such a powerful opponent.

question though, how much time does storm need to manipulate the weather? im sure its not instant.

I have not seen anything to suggest quake has an attack speed faster then lightning or that her powers are subconscious. Besides quake requires line of sight which storm can deny.  Not to mention Storm has far superior range.

im no physics professor, but doesnt vibrations disturb the flow of energy? if storm tried to attack with bolts of lightning, wouldnt they just deflect or diminish as they were hitting quake? i mean since they both know of eachothers abilities, wouldnt quake know how to counter her most obvious attacks. and from what i've seen mostly, storm usually attack from the air, by the time she took flight, quake would of made her heart explode.

just a thought. 

I think Storm can defeat Quake by just directing a constant barrage of lightning bolts. Quake may be able to disrupt one or two of them, but the sonic eruption from the resulting thunder crashes will still disorient her. Storm can then take to the sky and let loose on Quake. 

but this is no morals and no vibrations do not stop lightning bolts.

Quake is her Omega Iceman, the picture makes it obvious.

Quake because she can one shot her but it wouldn't be hard.

Storm wins this so easily its not even funny. She is faster, can fly, can hit quake with lightning, tornadoes, flash freeze her,

I don't agree with the putdown of Quake, as Quake isn't really inexperienced... Heck, for a short comic run she was even the head of SHIELD; and has proven herself to be a very capable tactician... Great at the head of a team.

That said, Storm has too. And more so... And her power set in my opinion is superior here; just because the shear range of ways Storm can kill her.

This isn't close, and Storm wins this quickly and decisively.

Storm has faster abd longer range of powers, Storm easily WINS.

Didn't Quake take out magneto and wolverine, depends on who attacks first, they can both one shot each other

Bump, since Quake will be getting more feats in secret Warriors

Let me know if there's an update. Right now Storm edges her out even more with internal attacks. I think now it might even be a stomp at this point.

@storm_calling: @del_torro: Even with her updates I doubt they would be enough to beat Storm.

Considering the fact Storm can attack faster and less than a conscious thought.

Both can one-shot each other, but unfortunately Storm wins since she has better speed.

Quake is a better fighter

In my opinion that fight has no relevance here regarding speed since that was not a one on one fight like it is here and it was under totally different circumstances.

1. Magneto did not know Quake was there since he was fighting multiple Avengers.
2. Sentry was literally holding Magneto by his throat so he could not move.
3. Magneto was begging Sentry to kill him.

Lightning propagates at about 20 times the speed of seismic vibrations (That's the initial lightning stroke. The return stroke is about 80 times faster), and Storm doesn't usually stay in contact with the ground when she attacks. She'll be in the air, where she could get hit by debris, but only if she isn't paying attention. She's been in a lot of "strike fast and defend faster" situations over the years. She's much more experienced, and her power set is faster and more versatile.

Storm takes this, unless she's not paying attention or having a really bad day.

Quake should take it. She doesn't need to shoot a blast at Storm when she can literally make Ororo's heart explode by thought (like she did to Logan).

@demightysquidge: Daisy's powers don't work by shooting vibrations at people. They work by manipulating vibrations that are already there.

It can be a quickdraw to a degree with the insta-kills (exploding heart vs fried brain) but I think Storm still has this.

It can go either way, but I'm leaning towards Storm.

Battle of the internal attacks. Storm is probably quicker on the draw, but Quake is much more likely to use internal attacks than Storm who has only used them like 3 times in all of her thousands of appearances.

Quake already made storm along with the other xmen back down before on panel by threatening to blow there hearts to bits.

It's pretty clear quake is more likely to use internal attack and it would be the end of storm. Not even Emma frost dared attack quake even with telepathy lol.
