@dogsoldier88: there is no rational way that Batman using real world level gear can take the punishment Frank can dish out. Unfortunately for Punisher fans, Batman is using gear much better than anything made in the real world. His armor can survive explosions that can blast three meter wide holes in white marble, with a bomb detonated in his own hands. His cape is bullet resistant to the point that it can take clips from a gang of monsters.

His cowl took repeat shots from assault rifles fired by Gotham Swat at point blank range. And this was during zero year.

Batman has even deflected bullets with his gauntlets and reacted to gunfire so fast that it would be physically impossible for the human brain to send signals fast enough.

He has dodged sniper fire from behind. The agility feats actually do go on, they just do not get any faster than the no look dodge of a bullet described as moving 1200 meters per second on panel.

As this is peak version of current character, Batman has the stats to win this. He can take the grenades and rockets. And he can dodge and react to projectiles fired well beyond 300 mph.

Batman will go around and use stealth, but he will still win.

@dogsoldier88: The OP does not have to specify anything of the sort. When such things are not specified, there is a standard template for battles that is used. It's in the Battle Forum Rules. It is not my fault you cannot read the Battle Forum Rules. I know plenty about the Punisher; I would wager I know far more about the Punisher than you do.

To @senglord, I would say that balance those feats with the plenty of showings for Bats where he gets staggered by punches and kicks, and the fact that he exposes half his face with his cowl. I'm not a Bat-fan, but if you can post a scan of Bat tanking a shot from an RPG, then I'll rest my case. The SWAT example is interesting, but SWAT teams don't normally use Baretts (BMG 50's), and not when engaging mid/close range.

And I know the forum rules @saren, that's why I split it 5/10, because both characters use their environment and tactical planning as advantages over their opponents. But, in light of @senglord's post, I'll go as far as 7/10 for Batman. Batman, as I said earlier, has too many resources for a BlackOps vet, using real-world gear and training, to overcome.

@dogsoldier88: I use an IPad and comixology. The Swat team unloading on him is in Batman 27. The head cop even suggests the take care to aim for his head. Batman with his cape has survived explosions the leveled the building he was in. It was used in the comic stooge vs wolverine08 CAV for Batman vs Captain America. There are a lot of durability posts for Bats there. Wish I had the issues, and a scanner, and a PC. Lol.

I would have to go with Punisher on this one, have you seen the new Punisher: War Zone. He takes on the Avengers, even making Ironman admit that he is far smarter and tougher then he ever thought. Punisher also use super villain gear such as goblin gliders, pumpkin boms, wolverine claws, even a Doctor Octopus' arm, he has shown to be quiet proficient with them as well. Also he has no problem killing. Zero. I feel like Punisher is pretty much a moral off Batman that uses guns. I give it to him 7/10.
