If Castle planned it right he could take Cap by ambush or something, but thats not in his nature. Theyve foughtnmost recetly im Civil War and Cap decked him because he slaughtered some villains who wanted to help Caps side. Punisher ised to look up to Cap comingnup in the military. Cap has the edge on super soldier serum and more experience fighting different opponents and stragegizing large scale battles, Punisher is a strategist too but more so in a tactical sense planning smaller stuff not whole wars like Cap. They both are well trainednin almpst every martial art known to man, both have very high pain tolerance, very high discipline and heart. I give the edge to Cap simply because Cap is smarter, more experienced, and better physicala. Cap has takennom whole squads of nazi and hydra soldiers and doged and blocked every bullet. The only way Punisher could win is some kindnof ambush or booby trap like a mine which could take him out enough for Punisher to finish him, but Punisher wouldnt do that anyway.
@deathburgers: This has been done, and a lot. As a rational human being, I'd say Punisher, but based on some ridiculous showings by Cap, I've gotta go Cap. Flagged for repeat btw.

Captain America wins. He is more skilled and has more durability and strength. Punisher would put up a good fight, but Captain America wins. Captain America wins 7.5/10.
