puma vs kraven

-kraven starts at the yellow dot and puma starts at the red dot

I actually give Sergei the edge.

Puma.

Puma is stronger, faster, more agile etc

Puma has actually given Spiderman a good fight, but we all know how Kraven fared towards the end of Grim Hunt, when Spidey actually started trying to win he handed Kraven's bum to him.

If Kraven had some prep time he might be able to win, but in a random encounter Kraven lacks the stats and the power to put down Puma

This is a hunt that will not end well for Sergei.

Operating under the assumption that Kraven's standard gear here provides him with poisons, Puma isn't so fast and agile that Kraven won't be able to tag him. While Puma can similarly tag Kraven, I believe Puma would have to inflict heavy damage on Sergei to put him down. He's shrugged off piercing damage with ease and he survived a massive blow from the Hulk recently.

Not a bad thread to bump... considering Sergei has been gifted a considerably stronger healing factor (in recent months I believe? Or did he get the enhancement more than 7 months ago?)

I am beginning to believe his poisons are a slightly underrated plot device.

Im going with Puma

Puma.

Well ... aside from superior physical stats, I can't think of a damn thing Puma has accomplished that Sergei hasn't. Been a long time since I've read a book with Puma appearing in it. Anyone have some material other than simple stats to show how Puma wins here?
