@BringnIt: He does in this thread. No mind control/shutting down his mind. She can read him and attack with psy bolts, but can't put him down that way.
Telekinesis allowed. Why is it spite? I figured no mind control would even it out a bit. I saw it as mind reading vs Spidey-sense, Tk vs. super strength, Martial arts vs. agility/speed, etc. I might not have thought it all the way through; seemed like an interesting match up though.
Psylocke's telekinesis renders every single one of Spider-Man's abilities useless.Telekinesis allowed. Why is it spite? I figured no mind control would even it out a bit. What if no Tk? Seems like Spidey has taken on far more ridiculous foes before, though. I didn't think it'd be such a landslide.
I actually am leaning toward psylocke, just thought it be a better fight.
@The Stegman: I mean the context of comics yes; but martial arts vs superhuman strength, agility, sense, etc seems like an even match up to me.

@bunnieswithtophats: yeah i'm trying to figure out how to make this even, which is why i suggested ult spidey, he's weaker than the 616 version and has a less well rounded spider sense..but even he might be too much..it's basically this, with mental abilities, Betsy wins, without, Spidey wins
Agreed. I though no mental domination was a sufficient handicap to even the odds, but idk.
i don't know if telekinesis is allowed but if it's allowed i'd say psylocke wins. she can read his mind so she'll know his plans & moves. she can use her telekinatic powers to keep him away from her while she fire lots of psi-bolts until he goes down. & if psi-bolts don't work ,she can use her telekinatic katana to slice his body.
if telekinesis is not allowed i'd say spider-man wins. he is faster than psylocke so he can attach her from everywhere. his spider sense will warn him from psylocke's attachs. i don't think a couple of psi-bolts is enough to take him down.
i'm still confused though. both charecters r so strong but psylocke always depends on her ninja skills. i don't think it's fair talking most of psylocke's telepathic powers. it's just like saying let's take away spider-man's senses.
Pete does not survive this battle.
Pete dies.
Then Mary Jane sells her soul to the devil to give her the powers of the Rider!
Then Mary Jane enacts her plan of revenge by spewing hellfire on Psylocke and Going on a rampage of vengeance that purges the city of all she deems unworthy of life.
