Psycho Mantis is heralded as the "greatest practitioner of psychokenesis in the world", claimed by Nastasha capable of doing anything ranging from bending spoons to causing natural disasters with just his mind. As a mere child, Mantis accidentally burned down his entire village singlehandedly off a simple emotional impulse, conjuring the fires of hell with his sheer will. Later in life after receiving extensive spec ops and other military training, Mantis honed his skills to mastery, capable of blasting opponents with concussive spheres of pure energy and telekinetically hurling ordinary objects with enough force to destroy ordinary men. He easily toys with the psyches of characters who, under normal circumstances, display completely indomitable willpower, such as Meryl Silverburgh and Gray Fox. Meryl has enough strength to tank gunshots and keep fighting, while Gray Fox resisted both Gene's mind control and his own brain programming as a teenager, so he already has plenty of psychic resistance, but Psycho Mantis just toyed with him. Mantis claims to have invaded the minds of thousands of men throughout his life, and so far the only one with the strength to resist him was Solid Snake himself. Mantis even took control of the entire Genome Army without even extending focus.
His powers are so vast and mysterious that they transcend the physical world itself, willing himself back to life 9 years after his demise and overtaking Screaming Beauty's consciousness through death, and even mindraping the player himself by famously reading off his memory card and telekinetically moving the controller.
Mantis is very powerful and should win this.
