There is literally nothing the team can do to even touch Zoom, hurt him, or even react to his speed of time manipulation.

@XImpossibruX: professor zoom, not zoom, yes, they could do nothing to touch zoom, because he can manipulate time. Professor Zoom isn't as fast as Zoom, he would most likely lose.

Darkseid, Doomaday and Thanos are still no where near tagging or even hitting Zoom. Maybe with prep Thanos and Darkseid can cook something up, but without it they can't do anything.

Professor Zoom's powers stem from The negative Speed force, and gives him the perks that the normal speed force gives The Flash, and is actually faster than Barry Allen. although not much, but faster nonetheless. The trio on the team are no where near his level of speed, adding the factor of his other abilities.

• Existence erasing
• Leeching time/youth
• Negating speed force users ability to tap into the speed force via corruption by his Negative speed force
• Time travel without the need of a cosmic treadmill to get him to his desired time and place.
• Time Manipulation. (as in speeding up and Slowing down time)

Eobard Thawne, was born into the 25th century, and due to loneliness he found comfort as Barry Allen's biggest fan. Soon Eobard would grow obsessive about The Flash. in his origin he also shows new powers: the ability to erase someone's total existence from the time line. Here, he even boasts of his 167 IQ. And we see him use his powers to get rid of his secret love's boyfriends to get a shot with her...

i could see him beating doomsday but not DS or Thanos. Even with time manupulation a win for him seems a bit far fetched

I think the team should take it - but it'll take a very long time and I can see maybe Darkseid or Doomsday getting knocked out before the other two would finish it. Are Thanos' shields considered part of his standard gear? How would they fair against someone like Zoom?

So Zoom has never been hurt or reacted to? I don't know much about the character but I doubt it. I can't speak for Darkseid or DD but I know Thanos has tagged flash level speedsters and reality/time warping doesn't work on him.

Professor Zoom? I think the only fights he's lost were to other speedsters, most namely Wally West and Barry Allen (Not even going to respond to the Batman thing).

I have all of his appearances post and precrisis... and everytime he's fought a non-speedster he completely slaughter stomps. The Crime Syndicate, Red Tornado, Hal Jordan + Max, Jay, Jessie simultaneously. He fought Superman, Booster Gold, Rip Hunter and Hal Jordan breifly but really just tagged them all and left.

Zoom can't hurt them bad enough, Thanos has feats of reacting to speedsters, Doomsday is as "fast as the flash", and Darkseid is Darkseid

Stalemate or team wins by eventually connecting with ZOOM at some point.

Zooms dies. He wish he could do anything to either three of them.

Every encounter with Barry vs Eobard (Post Rebirth), highlights Barry Allen getting stomped. It's weird that it took them that long to upgrade him, seeing as how his encounters with Wally weren't actually that bad. Barring, Return of Barry Allen (In which Eobard was a speedster for all of a week), Eobard put up a couple decent showings against Wally before his upgrade.

With his upgrade, I'd consider them to be just about even, or at the very least, giving Wally a desicive lead in speed.

Thanos solo's IMO...

Yes. Most definitely.

Also, another affirmative. Eobard was in possession of an IQ result of 167. Considering that this test was taken in the future with (Assuming safely) a more intelligent generation with a higher bar of average intelligence, yes. He was a genius even for his time period.

Pre-crisis showcased that more though. He'd often build nifty devices to combat Barry Allen too. He built a time machine on his own at one point.

Haha, I remember saying this to myself. They have a true excuse for introducing him back into the series too. the way he spelled it out, he's a seperate entity now, living outside of any timeline. Theoretically, he would be immune to any reboot DC enacts.

If the first convergence cover holds true though, I'm sure we'll see him again.

@nickthedevil: They make so many excuses. I mean, Lucifer was outside creation, but the retcon affected him.

The new 52 is pretty cool, but their desperate explaining through comics are quite annoying. Just say you decided to remake everything! It's that easy! Yet they just retconned most people without excuses, and make up bad excuses for the ones that were explained. And then there's the GLs.
