Predator vs Elite

Predator.
 
Halo Energy Shields go down pretty quick.
 
Once the shield was down I believe a predator would mess him up pretty bad.  Although, if the Elite busted out the energy sword, Pred would most likely go melee as well and the energy sword would cut through any melee weapon Predator pulled.
 
I'd still go for the Predator, ubt if starting melee, I think it's be a tough fight.

Is this fight face to face? cause im sure an elite would win. the predator would win via stealth but that isnt a fight is it.

doesn't this elite has that indestructible shield that lasts like 15 seconds?

" Strait up fist to fist goes to the Elite.  They are stronger and faster. 7/10   Melee weapon to melee weapon, no shields goes to Elite, but possibly die after from injuries. 8/10   Melee with energy shields is stomp for elite.  10/10 (energy sword cuts through pred like butter. bladed weapons ping off of shield. heads up weapons fight is a 7/10 victory for elites. Plasma rounds are powerful enough to take down the shield, but it should require a minimum of two shots to get a kill on the elite.  The plasma rifles on the other hand would turn the predator into hamburger very fast.  Predator is definitely more stealthy, and cunning when it comes to ambush tactics. So, if predator gets the ambush, he should beat elite 9/10 times. "

predator due to stealth. he can bring down the shield by shooting from cover, then wrap up with the net. finish off by rushing with the wrist blades. so my vote is predator 6/10.

predators are juiced in the comics.

movies came first. specificly, predator 1.

as far as i am concerned predator 1 is what a predator is/does.

the predator does not really have a good chance against an elite. in predator 1 arnie drops a log on his head. Sure he is injured, but he is unable to move the log off his body.

predator can kick the ass off a human easily. Elites pulverize the bones of far more durable creatures, and wrestle super-soldiers in mech-suits to the ground with no augmentation on their natural stats.

predator is at a large disadvantage in physical stats to the elite.

predator wins in a ranged situation
a hunter/assassin will beat a warrior if they have to stalk each other 
 
in melee, elites probably have an advantage, but then again elites armed with energy swords are still only about equal to brutes, and I can see a predator beating a brute in melee
I'd say melee is 50/50 if the predator has a glaive (a staff with blades on each end)
