He has been a hero (one of the first Avengers and a Defender). He has been a deciding factor in many world ending events (Onslaught). Only the Grey Hulk has acted like a villian.

And also in this fight Silver Age Supes Speed blitzed Hulk and when hulk threw him into space Supes said he was the strongest person he ever fought. And that's for the people that like to use crossovers. But SA Supes had rediculous unexplainable PIS so he might actually win the fight. Hulk would be beating him and Supes might do something rediculous like start casting a magic spell that would make the moon fall out of the sky and smash Hulk and then you would ask yourself since when can Supes do magic, and throw away the comic book. That's the level of PIS SA Supes had hes the PISSIEST character ever by far.
If we're talking about Earth 1 Superman, that is Silver Age Superman, WWHulk has simply no shot, if we're talking on Earth 2 Superman, golden age Superman, Kal-L you'll need to go to the times before he started to absorb sunlight and increased his power to PC standarts for Hulk to beat him, back in the days where he couldn't fly just jump, couldn't take heavy artillery and wasn't that strong.
Allthough I'm almost sure this is E1 Superman that makes this a terrible stomp in Superman's favour.

I know that's why I stated "before he started to absorb sunlight and increased his power to PC standarts"
He still wasn't E1 lvl since E1 stoped him when he went mad with grief in CoIE, and himself stated that E1 would have a better shot to stop the Anti-Monitor in case he failed, but he was still powerfull, way more than Hulk or Current Superman.
