Just heresay. We know that he couldn't die, and was extrememly powerfull towards the end, don't recall anywhere that it stated he walked with Celestials or Galactus as far as power levels go?
can you show a serious thread on comicvine where people have gone along with superman soloing a gauntlet with skyfathers because i rarely see people treat superman that rediculous unless there just joking or hes being amped

Thanos imperative is a weaker Thanos who can bring him self back to life via very very strong molecular manipulation. I will give this to Superman truthfully.
Round 2 on the other hand is a joke, I have yet to see anything from the Sword of Superman besides it claiming him awesome, IG for the win
Superman wins the first round and the sword of superman loses to the IG.The sword of superman if I remember only grants omniscient and True invulnerability.And it's supposed to be able to cut anything in reality.So I don't know if the Sword's true Invulnerability can survive the IG,but if it's truly True invulnerability then the sword would win.

Round 1= Thanos just wins, via telepathy, force fields; and while Pre-crisis Superman was extremely resistant to a red sun, I believe if Thanos using enough Red sun radiation could put him down. Or he physically matches him, despite Superman having the speed advantage.
Round 2= Thanos wielding infinity gauntlet has much better feats, such as thinking halve the people in the Marvel universe with a click of his finger; and not to mention he is way more versatile.
And as he is super intelligent, when he uses the Mind gem it will amp his wisdom and intelligence even more, making him use the infinity gauntlet to the best of his abilities.
