Bloodlusted Power Pack vs the original, in-character, X-Men.  (The X-Men will still fight seriously.)

Just for fun, this is the Power Pack from their All-Ages group of mini-series.  Their teamwork and power-usage is at the level seen in these series; if you haven't read them, they're basically the same as when they were at the end of their first volume in 616, except that they're a bit more developed in the use of their powers.

The X-Men's teamwork and power-usage is at the level reached by the end of their first issue.  Please note this means Jean has no telepathy.  To even up the teams, Beast is not there--it's just Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Angel, and Iceman.

Battle takes place in a junkyard, starting at 50' apart.

Win by any means.

Who wins and why?

Well, I thought the others matched up specifically with them--Alex and Jean's powers are similar, Angel and Lightspeed can fly, Katie and Cyke have energy blasts, Jack and Iceman both have more random matter-control powers.

I seem to keep not using the characters you want...last time it was no X-23 and Jessica Drew  :)  Although I did use them in the next round of that Women Warriors bracket series.

I guess I'll have to figure out a Beast battle.

Sure, no problem.  I just mean, can you explain why you think the X-Men win in more detail.

@HulkSlayerT1000: It means provide further reasoning as to how you reached that conclusion.

Cause the X-Men are faster, Stronger, More durable, More agile...etc than the Power Pack squad is.

OK...but on the other hand, Julie can probably fly faster than Warren at this point in his life.  And Jack can turn to mist, so they can't hurt him.   Alex could turn the gravity off of all of them, shooting them up into space.  Jean could fight back against his gravity effect with her telekinesis, but her telekinesis was pretty weak back then.

Well, the X-men are pretty tough too.  Cyclops is a better shot with his energy beams than Katie is, and Iceman could cause some problems for Power Pack by making an ice barrage, or trapping them in an igloo.   I just wanted to argue for the other side a bit.  Thanks for your comments.
