The human torch is actually much hotter in terms of powers, given that he's not intangible like Ace,he still can't be hurt by Ace.
heat wise, Human torch can reach supernova temperatures. Not to mention he's actually thermal-proof so Ace can't hurt him(the only exception is if the temperature is hotter than the human torch which can run up to 20 million degrees+ very much beyond ace by roughly 19million+ degrees. truthfully the numbers arbitrarily written on my part but in any incarnation the human torch has been vastly shown to be much hotter than ACE). if anything its the other way around given that at a high enough temperature you can "burn" ace(I.e. via the heat from Akainu's magma fruit).

@drkcloud: I don't think that's how it works because if what you said is true, then Luffy would have melted from Enel's attacks (Rubber can only take so much electricity, let alone lightning). I think that due to the Devil Fruits mystical nature, some Fruits were created to oppose others, i.e. Ace = Aokiji but Ace < Aikainu
Edit: Also Human Torch would not use the Super Nova because it can harm the planet, and it states that is morals on.
