I'd be interested to hear what characters below level one classification could stomp Batman with prep, I really would. More than 7 of you thought so, so speak up.

Based on that classification, characters below level one would be anyone below Superman level. I would suppose that would be Iron Man and Apocalypse. Many of the forum members are saying that Batman is no match against Iron Man or Apocalypse no matter how much prep (Assuming Iron Man gets similar prep too).

@thebiggestg: I think Batman could beat either with enough prep. But if Iron Man has prep too that's dicey.

I don't know how to respond to this, but many users said that Iron Man is much superior to Batman in terms of engineering marvels in technological equipment, and isn't a complete dumbass that can be outwitted by simple tricks.

Similar for Apocalypse, he is much more intelligent than Batman and his celestial-enhanced powers had no kryptonite factor. Based on these points, users claimed that Batman vs Apocalypse is a stomp.

Unless they have an exploitable weakness like Kryptonite, I'd say high-end mid-tier chatter is about his limit.

With 20 years of prep, bat can stomp all lvl 1 chars certainly. Dunno abt level 2 unless he finds a weakness in long 20 years. Lvl 3 100% impossible.

Poll may not work as batman w/without prep is hated by a majority of viners.

And that's the truth, in fact he is the most underestimated and hated char in vine. Second place goes to flash.

@thebiggestg: this is a little out of order in my opinion. If by spawn you mean regular base spawn he gets beaten by ghost rider. Making him below level 1. If this is god spawn he's well above galactus. Either way he's not a class 1 being.

It really depends on the level one character and if they have had powers or exploitable weaknesses. I personally think he can beat flash or ghost rider due hax abilities.

Level 1 in this thread's definition simply just refers to beings whose power level can affect things on a planet-wide scale.

I thought regular Spawn is on level 1 power? Superman definitely is, and if Spawn is a match for Superman/Ghost Rider, then I feel Spawn can be placed on their level.

There's no end to these Bat-prep threads . The only way he can beat any of these ppl is if they have some sort of exploitable weakness like most DC characters do . Without those weaknesses he wouldn't beat ppl like Superman . So no matter how much prep you give him he's not beating no one on level 1 . He's most definitely not beating anyone on level 2 or level 3 . Stop the wank

My first inclination was to say Level 1, though after fully reading the OP, I'm inclined to say Level 2. However, the levels seem a bit... off.

Tough to say...but I'd say he struggles, even with prep, against Level 1 guys. We say Batman with prep time is a match for Superman, but how true is that when Superman doesn't really need to be in the same area from Batman, and a lot of his fights with Superman are based on what Bruce THINKS Superman will do.

I couldn't even begin to think of what kind of Prep he could possibly try coming up with to combat Ghost Rider or Thor. As far as I know, they have no real "Kryptonite," (though my knowledge on Marvel characters isn't that great. I can't imagine Bruce has anything GR couldn't burn through or that a standard-powered Thor couldn't rip apart.

Not to sell Batman short. He's skilled, but he's only human. Even with Prep, I don't know if he should be able to take Superman, Ghost Rider, Spawn, Thor, or Silver Surfer.

Did you read the entire OP? 20 years of prep and any and all connection/resources that he has relied on in the past... I'd say he has a shot.

I read the OP. What in 20 years could he learn to beat Odin? What connections in his past could help him stand against the likes of Skyfather level beings?

I don't really want to get into a drawn out debate about this. Suffice it to say, if in a fraction of that time Doctor Doom could figure out a way to usurp the powers of beings like Loki and The Beyonder, and do so with far less resources or connections than Batman has here, then yes... I'm pretty confident Batman could come up with the means to defeat Skyfather-level beings. (again, in view of the OP's stipulations)
