the mods do do their job, and they do it good. but they also know, that i'm no troll. i could be silly... but every story needs a relief character every now and then.

A thread with the purpose of 'loosening the tight heads up' would be useful only on a site that is too strict and regimented. Comicvine is the exact opposite of that. Making a thread here with the purpose of loosening people up is like sending a clown to Chuck E. Cheese because the kids aren't having enough fun.

comicvine above all, is for friendly discussions. sure there are different rooms to click on for a specific genre of discussion, but the purpose remains because if not for discussions this site would build no traffic. mods are not supposed to scare away it's population and people pretending to mod don't necessarily help either. the mods are around and they know what their doing. hmm, you might be one of them for all i know. ;)

Do you remember the time that The Creator got temporarily banned, while Klandicar remained untouched? Have you noticed the countless number of trolls who have been temporarily banned about a thousand times but are always allowed to come back and troll more? Have you noticed that, at pretty much any given point in time, you can check the front page of the battles forum and there will be at least half a dozen battles that probably should be locked but never are? Have you noticed that the mods keep telling us to flag stuff that we want gone, but flagging never does jack s**t?  Yeah, the mods here are great at doing their jobs.
