Is there any pokemon that does magic?

Yae ghosts and psychic types have done magic before.

Alot of the ghost pokemon could possibly beat superman since superman would go in to punch in but it will have no effect . Then the ghost could use numerous ways to incapacitate supes through posesesion, mind attacks, magic summoning, soul based attacks, illusions, paralyzes, battlefield/spacial manipulation, etc.

Some of the psychic types have insane illusion powers like putting entire cities in illusions and becoming reality warpers in the dream world just by looking into eyes.

Maybe some fairy types could beat superman to with their magic. Perish song or sleep would probably make superman temporarily ko'd or fall asleep.

But superman would beat mostly all other pokemon.

@avatar_a: Fairy Type and Ghost Types have moves alluding to magic or being magical being. There is Psychic types but they usually use most likely telepathy and telekenesis to use the moves. Plus moves about punching and strenght are either normal or fightining types which Fairy Type and Ghost Types are advantage since Fairy is strong and resists against fightining types and Ghost Types are simply imunes to normal and fightining in most cases. So in figths if we are following pokemon logic, Superman mostly likely had to use Heat vision or Superflare which most similiar movie is fire type moves or Solarbeam which is grass type or Ice Breath which would be ice beam. Plus Burning on pokemon rules lowers the attack and deal damage each turn until it´s cured or he is fainted.

I really can't see any Pokemon being strong enough to defeat Superman... Superman has all different kinds of attacks to at least do damage to any Pokemon type, and each attack he does would be so dreadfully strong that I doubt any Pokemon would survive.

Psychic/fairy types aren't quick enough or durable enough to avoid/take one punch from Superman. As I imagine is the case with most Pokemon.

As for @venomoushatred1001's list: I don't know most of them but Machamp, Gengar aren't doing it. I can't see Lugia doing it and if Shedinja is weak to fire heat vision would be considered super effective.

Also why are people assuming supes first move will be heat vision or ice breath? This is a random encounter and supes usually punches first.

@those_eyes: In the anime? I've only seen the first 2 or 3 seasons...whenever it got past johto, and it was a long time ago but I don't remember that. They're affected by those types of moves though.

I'm sure against most he would hit first, but if you had super strength, heat vision and frost breath would your first instinct be to punch a ghost?

Yea I know that's why I never included mewtwo...well that was more for speed too. I never really saw any pokemon standing up to him but they do have ridiculous feats so there's some I won't say can't.
