Plutonian has untapped potential with his reality warping abilities.

Plutonian can control matter on an atomic level and warp reality. Thor and Supes don't stand a chance against a guy who can make himself as powerful as he wants. It'll go as all Plutonians fights go. He'll jerk around for a bit letting the guy hit him then get annoyed and tear Thor pieces.

Well, Plutonian should win. He's faster, at least as strong, as durable, and has some real crazy heat vision.

To be fair seeing the age of this post it was probably around the time Plutonian's real abilities hadn't been revealed. To begin with it looked like he was some amped up Superman clone reacting in pictoseconds, pushing tectonic plates 1 handed etc... it was a few issues later it was revealed that he was in fact a reality warper who didn't know he was a reality warper.

Erik at the time probably thought this would be a fair fight as Plutonian only had a few showings above Superman before that issue came out it was only after then he drastically increased.

Lol. I had no idea who he was at the time. I had only read the first issue.

Thor's divinity arguably would provide some protection, given his body was described as transcending dimensions.

This Plutonian comic is amazing. I'm on issue 17 now.

Thor wins this. Plutonian got the crap beat out of him several times even AFTER he was told and came to realize his full potential. He is a very low-level reality warper at best. Thor is physically strong enough to kick the crap out of him, strike him from a distance, and is used to fighting things on his level. Plutonian is too used to vastly overpowering anything.

Wrong. Plutonian cannot simply make himself as strong as he wants. He's limited by his lack of imagination. Plus Thor could still crush Plutonian's head with Mjnonir. Magic is not something he can counter so easily. This version of the Plutonian has not realized his full potential and he can't simply do it at will. It takes time, something he does not have when facing a being more powerful than he currently is. Thor is stronger than most versions of Superman, usually only exceeded by Silver-Age or Superman Prime, because of his Asgardian heritage. He can take Plutonian no sweat.

People seem to be overestimating Plutonian greatly. The fact that he's a reality warper doesn't mean he can do anything he want. In fact, we've already seen what he can do before and after realising the source of his powers, and he didn't do anything that proves he can take on Thor. Thor can easily replicate and surpass Plutonian's best feats, except fo maybe speed, which won't change much, as Thor is used to fight opponents who can move many times faster than light.

You realize that’s basically Superman’s thing, right? Superman is as powerful as he needs to be.

Thor should win. His high ends are equal to Plutonians if not better.
