"Who the hell is pluto."
Pluto is the roman name for Hades. Or if your studying Astronomy, it's a planet named after the Roman name of Hades. There is also a cartoon dog named pluto.
He is basicallly one of the many marvel devils. He is the devil for the olypians. Hes pretty damn stron and lived for thousands of years. He won't be hurt by the beams because he is needed and as shown in marvel you can't actually kill the death gods even odin had to send seth the egyptian death god to another dimension.

Hades was not the ultimate force of evil in greek mythology. That was either Kronus/Chronus or Uranos.

I don't talk about mythology on the vine. I talk about comicbook characters.

I'm just pointing out a common misinterpretation of greek mythology. Hades is not actually very evil. Kronus and Uranos were the truly evil ones.

Thats why I stated marvel death gods not mythology beings.
"Gotta go with Darkseid here. Even though Pluto maybe a Greek God... I haven t really seen any massive feats from him in the Marvel Universe "
Lol you serious? Not tryna sound mean but pluto is a G lol. I'll show some of his feats later on when I'm not in my lazy mode. "
Maybe Pluto is a G. But his appearences in comics are not as common as Darkseid... I have only seen Pluto once in action in a comic. But numerous times I have seen DS do damage. But I will wait to see what ya got on Pluto
The Omega Effect doesn't really work anymore, Darkseid's confidence is such a problem people were surprised he actually had the ability to erase street levelers like Batman
After the Crisis the Omega effect doesn't really work that good, its a total joke against people who are important to the universe. Because Pluto is an important deity he can just bounce or reflect the OE with one of the whiskers on his beard, he then blinks erases Darkseid
Jobberseid has got, way, way too much credit in this thread Major crbstomp for Pluto
" Does it really? I can't recall people surviving Marvel death deities touches, yet loads of people outrun or survive the Omega Effect. "
Who, aside from our favorite Superman? Darkseid has been incinerating Gods with the Omega effect for 40 years now and I don't recall any giving him trouble.
Besides A beam of power has a normal superiority to actually touching someone to produce the same effect.
Post Crisis = LOL His Omega Effect is Omega-lite and stated to only effect people not essential to their universe
Are we clear now that Pluto>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Post Crisis
Darkseid takes on a half dead Galactus and can't even score an enormously lopsided Galactus victory by the weakest Galactus they could come up with, when I say half starving and dead I mean half starving and dead (I'm surprised they didn't give Galactus a walking cane to keep from falling over! ) Superman owns him 90% of the time over Jobberseid vs Wonder Woman Darkseid's Omega Effect has not even SCRATCHED Wonder Woman's Bracelets. Superman blocks the Omega Effect by making a funny grimace face
@Creator: Superman is more durable...hmmm, maybe. However as an incarnation of death Pluto can't die. He is also important in the universal balance. So the Omega effect is just a pretty laser show here. A death beam from Pluto is more likely to kill Darkseid one time.
If Darkseid wants fisticuffs then he dies with the slightest contact.
