I believe it would really depend on if Iron Mans Repulsors/Unibeam could melt him or not. I know Plastic Man has taken some pretty powerful blows and been unfazed by them. So I do not think brawling with Iron Man will hurt him.

Iron Man's combustible arsenal wouldn't suffice at all?

Ironman. Because he usually has cryo and incendiary devices on him. He could also use sonics to drop Plastic Man.
