to be fair Namor is faster than that :) maybe,Goku wasnt faster than Frieza's attack and we know how it ended besides,who said Namor actualy haves to "run away" from it?he gets close something huge,waits a bit and flys off the way before the attack hits him,the blast is gone with the wall,hu-rray :)  besides,Piccolo cant control such a power,he couldnt control the special beam cannon against Raditz,if he could,Goku wouldnt have been killed "

well piccolo probably wont attack him with moon busting attack emidietly, first he will just fly aroung him troweing nuclear level attacks, so even ifNomor dodge some of them, it wouldn't matter. And than once Namor is all mess up, he will finish him with moon busting attack. Or turn into a giant and kill him with strength. This goes to piccolo at least 8/10 "

The reason why I used some feats from old Piccolo is because they have said how Piccolo jr is identical to him, only more powerful. Also he himself sometimes is talking as if they are the same person.

Namor going toe to toe with SS is complete PIS IMO same wth Hulk and Thor without Phoenix force he should be annihilated by all of those guys easily. That being said Piccolo shouldn't have to much trouble here, Namor has a slight strength advantage but Piccolo has more advantages in every other area. He has so many abilities racially it's ridiculous, TK, Shape shifting, Size changing, Regeneration, TP, Energy Manipulation, Stretchy Limbs, He can multiply himself, Hell all he really needs is Intangibility and he'd be DBZ version of MM only weaker.

@law1602: This is like the 10th time today I have seen you bump a thread a decade old just to say someone stomps or agree with the overwhelming general consensus? I’m confused why?

Namor has went toe to toe with people who could move planets and destroy moons. This isn't a stomp for Piccolo. But it will be locked.

@law1602: @intentdebatthor: and Namor isn't fast enough to dodge any of Piccolos casual moon busting attacks, let alone fight him hand to hand. Jr wouldn't even have to charge his Special Beam Cannon, he could though since Namor isn't touching him. He could make a few clones to fight Namor while he charges...a Saibaman would wreck Namor's sh*t, let alone a guy who vaporized one with a casual mouth beam

@ancient_0f_days: OP stated this is Piccolo pre-Saiyan Saga, months before Vegeta arrived. A Saibaman would murder Piccolo at that point. Namor is strong and tough enough to hang with very early DBZ characters, but speed is a massive problem that can't be overcome.

@intentdebatthor: it says a few months before Vegeta arrived...a few months before VEGETA....That means he already started training with Gohan for at least 9 months and already surpassed Raditz/Saibamen at that point.

As for Namor's strength, he can hang with them physically and he might even be physically stronger but he's not a martial artist. Even with speed equalized, he'd be fighting a grand master here. Piccolo was the most skilled fighter on the planet during the Saiyan Saga since Goku was dead. The fact that they can amp their punches with Ki makes this worse for Namor since it means his strength has to compare to their Ki and as you said, speed is a massive problem that can't be overcome.
