You tried to imply that Galactus' death would directly end the entire multiverse. This should also hold true for every other Galactus in the multiverse. This however, is not the case, as numerous other galactuses have died. For instance, the Goblin Force has killed a Galactus. The Multiverse didn't implode on itself. Nor did it implode on itself when 616 Galactus died. And no, Abraxas wasn't able to finish his task because it was Reed Richards, not Galactus who utilized the power of the UN. Odd, because simply restarting the universe shouldn't have any effect on a being who can destroy universes at will with seemingly no effort on his part.
@Lance Uppercut: What? If it weren't for Galactus Reed would have never gotten his hands on the UN. And we are talking about Galactus PRIME here. Goblin force was from an alternative reality.
