Both are somewhat immortal, both come back stronger every time they die...so who would be the first one to kill the other one? If necessary, Ikki has access to the Leo gold cloth; Doomsday is DoS Doomsday not H/P

@XImpossibruX: what cosmic god? he doesn't have his god armor or anything. This is just Ikki with the 3rd version of his armor and if necessary the gold cloth.

physically it's always touted that Aldebaran of Taurus is the strongest of them all (however, he is usually lowballed and killed first all the time).

Most powerful saint? It would be a toss up (IMO obviously) between Shaka of Virgo and Saga of Gemini (they have ridiculous versatile attacks); though Phoenix Ikki is also up there since he is immortal and every time he's "killed" he comes back stronger (however, he has a glass jaw and is KOed easily)

Then of course, we can count on Seiya, who is not actually the strongest, but can tank and soak a lot, A LOT of damage.

Aldebaran of Taurus is he immortal also since he is killed in every episode?

haha my bad, had to edit that. Nah, he's killed...twice? I think it was twice. Nah, but he gets brought back to life; he's usually always the first one to go or get KOed for some reason.

Oh okay and is there an anime out? Wasn't it recently re-made or something of the sort? OVA?

There's a buncha them out. The original one which is the galactic tournament (it's terrible), then the battle of sanctuary (it's good), then the battle against the asgardian 'warrior gods' (it's alright), then the battle against Poseidon (it's good), then the Inferno chapter pt 1 (it's AWESOME), Inferno chapter pt 2 (not as good). There is also Saint Seiya: Lost canvas which do not feature the main character, it's a prequel set centuries in the past. The new one is Saint Seiya: Omega, which does away with much of the established myth and story and focuses on the new style of anime (a la Naruto) and it's kinda terrible

Aside from that there are some movies out which are really good.
