Robin Hood's fame comes from archery, I'm going with Peter.
Book Peter vs. legendary Robin Hood then...I'm going with Robin Hood, although Peter was one hell of a swordsman for a kid...
The winner is Pan...Peter pan :P
I'll go with Peter Pan. I always thought that he was a tight character, both in Disney and the book.
Flight is a significant advantage, but taking to the air might not be a good choice when you're facing an archer as skilled as Robin Hood.

Agreed. But, how fast can Pan fly? Is he fast enough to dodge arrows coming at him?
I haven't read the book since I was a kid, so I don't remember how fast Pan flew. I don't think he did any flying in his duel with Hook, which was pretty intense.
Hook was serious business in the original illustrations:

Speaking of Peter Pan, does anyone remember that Peter Pan and the Pirates cartoon from FOX Kids? I honestly think that was the best incarantion of Peter Pan, IMO. I just remembered how f@cking tight that cartoon was. Check this out.

The first time I saw this cartoon, was the happiest day of my life. Not because of the cartoon of course but that's the reason I remeber.I loved it though.Sadly I only saw a few episodes.
