Jason.
With no water around it gives Percy a major disadvantage.
He still a better fight, well he has better feats

I know, but no HF for Percy or water to manipulate with no water.
Jason has the storms at his command.
I dont think its possible for Percy to win.
@joewell: So who do you think wins? Remember Jason can fly and summon lightning while Percy has no water.

Hasn't he took a bolt before ( i'm probably wrong but i think i remember that some where )
And he has better combat feats
And Percy has been able to cause earthquakes before, so he can do it again
@joewell: Yea he took a bolt from Jason's sister can't remember her name atm. IMO I think Jason is much stronger than her though he cracked Mt. Diablo in half with his lightning.
Percy. Percy has more experience, he could use water in cacti and other water holding plants, and he can still create Earthquakes even he doesn't use it for too long. Earthquakes in a dessert could be a major advantage. Jason maybe experience but he has no mental memory, only muscle memory. Jason can summon a lightning bolts through his weapon, but if he misses he is done for.......... As a last ditch effort Percy could summon water to protect himself but then he would pass out. But I still give Percy the win, but it would be a good fight.

yeah but he drained almost all of his power like that and he had help from Jupiter and It broke his weapon
Also Percy has pulled water out of the ground before so he dose have some water
@Vortex13 said:
@PlasticBag: Well really it was Zeus that boosted Jason's power so he could do that.
You guys seem to be forgetting that Percy can summon water in places even if there is no water he was able to do that to clean the stables and in a volcano.
Yes it was and he still lost all power
Yeah that to but the volcano thing knocked him out for like a week
Yea haven't read the books in awhile even if he summons an earthquake Jason could just go into the air.
@PlasticBag said:

But he can still make water out of the ground

But there is a limit of how far he can go.... Plus he has to summon winds to fly, and winds in a dessert would pick up sand particles which would not lessen his flight ability but cause him to be pelted by sand
Hmm okay interesting... i'll still go with Jason though. Also remember Percy doesn't have Achilles Curse anymore.

I know, why do you go with him
I go with Jason. He can use storms, plus he has better training because of the Roman camp. Percy's training has been sparse and lucky. With no water around, Percy's at a HUGE disadvantage.

Didn't Percy solo and army of ghost Camp Jupiter campers?
And in the training war he,Hazel, and Frank took out like 100 campers
Are you saying there are 6 books worth of luck?
He fought the god of war and stalmated
Ooooh Third option, They meet the Kane siblings in the desert and it becomes a Greek and egypt battle ha, just kidding...... I know, but he doesnt really need the curse anymore, Percy has a natural ability to adjust to the battle and his surroundings like the sea, the ability to adjust is underestimated
@joewell: I think he could beat Percy in this situation. Please explain why you think Percy would win. I'd love to hear it!

This!! If Ares had trouble against him, then Jason's experience doesnt matter

Wouldn't summoning a storm create a huge advantage for Percy........
CLOUDS & RAIN = WATER

Oh that's right, i forgot that little bit. But he was next to the ocean with that one, and all he did was knick Ares' ankle.
I still think Jason could take this simply because its in the Sahara Desert.
Just my thoughts

The god of War fight was just lucky. But true about the rest, still, i think given the scenario; Jason would win

CLOUDS & RAIN = WATER
oh yeah
1. Percy is older ( he has fought multiple gods, demons, and titans) and he is stronger ( he held up the freaking sky)
2. Jason has no memory
3. Jason's abilities would not work as well in a desert (wind would conflict with the sand, and making a storm would allow Percy to control it).
4. Percy is adaptive because of the connection to the sea, he can perceive different situations because of this ability
5. In last ditch efforts, Jason could make a bolt of lightning with his weapon... Percy could summon water or and earthquake.... Both would weaken using major abilities
@PlasticBag: lol Well You did say "LET THE FIGHT BEGIN", We are just explaining our side of the fight.... I like to debate, so Im waiting for someone to think of something about Jason, that I havent thought about- Him, His surroundings, His Weapon, His Powers, Something, lol
Just doing what you said sir lol, So for me and for now its still..... Percy.
Do you think Percy can summon water in one of the dryest places on EArth? And if Jason summoned a storm, it'd be one without rain, because he couldn't control water
@PlasticBag said:

@JamesKM716: Well He did summon water inside a volcano, Im thinking those are pretty dry lol :) Ground holds reservoirs of water all over the Earth, and any nearby water holding plants would hold water, which could be used to strengthen and heal him....... And storms are still clouds, and Percy has had numerous occasions where he can control a storm, he cant summon a storm like Jason, but he can control it.... Storms are kind of a neutral ground between the two "a Sky full of Water"

Percy, I would say wins. Its not like the man is powerless outside of Water. Sure it makes him a lot stronger but he is not worthless out of it.
Dang Comicvine, it needs a "Like" button lol
Ok people I am back lol. I agree Percy does have some good feats but remember they both fought titans Percy did fight the stronger titan but he had the Cure while as Jason fought his hand to hand with no Curse! ZOMG lol I'm enjoying this debate. I do hope though in the new book they had more power and skill to Jason. Jason FTW!

Not hand to hand, it was a weapon battle
and we do not know how the battle went down it could have been luck
And Percy fought alot more powerful titan
I think they might fight in the new book because on the UK cover there fighting on tempest and blackjack ( i'll get a pic in a sec )
All the people saying that Jason needs wind to fly are only half right. It's not just wind that allows him to do this he can also increase the density of air for him to be able to travel through it similarly to how Percy can increase water density around him. I'm going to play devils advocate for a bit in Jason's favor for a bit.
People are remarking that Jason lost his memory but he still remembers how to do battle clearly because of how he beat Lityerses. He also was able to defeat Krios the brother of Kronos who was only defeated by Hercules before that and he did that without the curse of Achilles which Percy needed to fight Kronos it should be noted.. It is mentioned and he is the one that led camp Jupiter to the the throne room of Kronos through an army of monsters and minor titans. He toppled the throne by himself as well. He may have forgotten who he was but he fully remembers how to fight he killed the sea serpent of troy as well though we don't actually know how that ranks as a feat because there are not stats on its strength levels. He is a solid match for Percy.

He's a great match for percy, thats why i hope they'll be fighting in the book
Percy and Jason feats are very alike but percy has more of them. i mean every feat jason has percy can compare to but not visa versa
