Percy Jackson Runs The Gauntlet

Current Percy Runs the Gauntlet of Superheroes, Morals off for Percy and Characters (unless specified otherwise). Percy gets Riptide. No prep for Percy, opponents get 10 mins prep at location and full knowledge of Percy's powers.. 30 minutes recovery time between battles.

How far does he go?

really?, spidey is faster than percy and might be able to stop him getting in the water. I might amend OP so they know his powers.

@BlueLantern1995: Spiderman has more consistent showings of high strength levels, and definitely has superior agility, plus spidey sense will come in handy.

I think he clears.....

Is celestial bronze stronger than adamantium.....wait, Celestial bronze wouldn't be able to hurt any of the above. Assuming it can, Percy gets to Round 4. But the fight with Wolverine would take a heck of a lot out of him. Percy's powerful, and he's greatest advantage would be his manipulation of water - it truly depends on the melee fighting.

He could clear this

Cyclops without moral on will probably choose to spam the entire area with his eye blast, so he might not get pass Cyclops.

exactly, plus if percy is 100m from water loads of these characters are faster than him, so could stop him getting there.

Hasn't Percy tanked more than optic blasts? And couldn't the gods just resurrect Percy over and over again?

It's a good point: Cyclops is lethal with his optic blasts, if he gets a hit on Percy and doesn't ease off....

Can someone clear this up for me, as I haven't been keeping entirely up-to-date with the recent series/ been ages since I read the original five books, does Percy still have the "curse" of Achilles? Otherwise he could shrug off most of these attacks.

@BlueLantern1995:Thought so....but what about Wolverine (who is incredibly hard to keep down due to his healing factor), Namor and Aquaman (who are both more at home in the water than on land). To be honest having Morals on wouldn't stop Namor. Aquaman also has (perhaps somewhat more limited control than Percy's) control over water. Granted, he isn't a demi-god but he's powerful nonetheless.

percy is fire retardent, he got shot out of a volcano remenber. i say he clears it, cause his healing factors is even better than worverines if he gets in the water.

Actually, Cyclops without visor will certainly shred off almost every surface of skin on Percy's body, so even if he have only weak spot on his back, there's high chance that it'll get hit.

And Cyclops' blast is pure kinetic force, Percy's fire resistance won't save him, and Human Torch's nova is 100 to 1000 times hotter than lava anyway.

But what happens if he doesn't make it to the water? I imagine if Cyclops was between Percy and the water, Percy would take a head on blast of optic ray.

Also his "seaweed brain" may be a huge negative against him. He certainly has battle experience, but when it comes to strategy he isn't Annabeth. He would go for the most obvious technique; get to water, stay in water. If all his opponents have knowledge of his powers, the number one priority would to stop him getting to the water. They would have contingency plans.

the main problem here is no one of these guys can actually harm percy

current Percy doesn't have achilles heel and has no speed feats on land that suggest he can run faster than the average teenager, whereas people like wolverine and spidey are faster than average which means they can stop him from getting to the water.

well then the battle depends on whether or not can percy make it to water in time. but even without the water he can still use geokinesis and aerokinesis (create hurricanes), so i dont see these guys defeating percy

Percy clears, with higher level showings than the competition this shouldn't be too difficult.

those are inaccurate and used more as defensive than offensive weapons.

Surviving Thunder Bolts from a child of Zeus, beating the God of War in a sword fight with virtually no training, holding up the sky, creating Earthquakes that shook most of the Northwest of America. He has plenty of feats that place him above the others on this list.

In fact the only person I can see him having trouble with on this list is Aquaman, but the morals for Arthur make this a win for Percy.

That was in Sea of Monsters and he beat the crap out of a person way out of his league and he dodged his attacks showing him to be way faster than the average teenager.

Percy clears with relative ease for all of them except Human Torch but he should be able to beat him.

That is battle speed and agility, not running speed.

Human Torch is fast, can fly and will torch the forest straight away.

Even with Achilles' Heel, Cyclops' unshielded optic blast's voluminousness will reach even the smallest part of Percy body's which includes his weakness spot. Also, his optic blast is fast enough to get to Percy even before he reach water, and even if he does so, what stop him from blasting the water? Tony Stark once measured Cyclops power and it have energy output equivalent to a large nuclear reactor, I don't see why that's not enough.

@BlueLantern1995: Did Percy ever learn to control his earthquake abilities? I only remember him displaying it once at Mt St Helen's, and the effort severely weakened him.

Cyclops' optic blasts travel at the speed of light, so unless I missed I really big feat of Percy's I'd say he is likely to get hit. Also Spidey has augmented strength (= speed) and reflexes and will beat PErcy to water.
