Every fight is next to the Atlantic ocean.

Why are Zhao and Sokka above Zuko and Aang, especially Aang?

morals off, I think Aang can take him. Flight and agility will be a problem.

Clears up to Aang. He can't really get to Aang in flight, while Aang can just split the earth open beneath Percy

Hecates's fire burned Kronos with the curse so any of the fire benders after Zhou could possibly do it, but the ocean is a pretty big advantage. Also Aang hits a lot of people so that's a possibility.

I think he stops no matter what at 9. Aang has far more power over water, can fly, and can earth bend which Percy has no defense against

@arcus: Lightning isn't piercing damage and he has the reaction time to deal with lightning

@hulkage: Percy's never made hurricanes or tidal waves big enough to seriously affect an Avatar in flight

That was Hestia, not Hecate. Anyway, her fire is magical, and she's a goddess. I doubt Ozai or Azula could match that.

I agree Aang has a good shot at winning, but his earth bending wouldn't do anything to Percy unless he managed to hit the small of his back.

@arcus: True, Aang can fly; but in the Demigod files, Percy was able to create a water funnel that held him more than 40 feet in the air. He could do that to tag Aang.

@logy5000: Aang can get much higher than 40 feet, and he's much more maneuverable

@arcus: Yes, but if Percy is in the water, I can't think of anything Aang could do to him.

@logy5000: Avatar state waterbending could rival Percy's control. He could trap him in an air sphere and remove him from the water, or erupt a volcano beneath him

@arcus: Percy's water control exceeds anything Aang ever did with water. Aang never showed the ability to put an air sphere around others, otherwise you'd think he would have done that to Ozai. And I doubt a volcano is going to be right next to the ocean.

Also, Percy has air manipulation as well.

Even if he can get Percy out of the water, then what? He still can't really hurt him.

Probably stops at Azula. Almost guaranteed stop at Sozin's Comet Ozai. Definitely stops at Avatar Aang.

Azula and Ozai have no qualms about using lightning. Due to its conductive nature, a single shot of lighting would definitely hurt Percy in his "heel". Add to the fact that Percy probably douses himself in water to add strength and counter the fire, and that lightning is even stronger, as salt water is a conductor. And Ozai can fly above Percy and avoid anything Percy can throw at him while shooting lightning until Percy is dead.

Avatar Aang just pounds Percy. Even if Percy can out-control the water, Aang still has three more weapons and since he can fly, would be able to avoid 90% of Percy's attacks. Aang wouldn't even need lightning.

The Achille's Curse counter everyone else, though, except maybe Combustion Man. His sheer concussive force might be able to expose Percy's back and get a lucky hit in.

Does Percy have access to some way to fly, such as winged shoes or a pegasus? That may even the fights against Comet Ozai and Avatar Aang out a little bit. If so, Percy has a chance of clearing if he can dodge the lightning. So...does anyone have any proof that Percy is that fast?

@hulkage: He could easily get him out of the water and open the earth and bury him when he comes to land.

No it would not "definitely hurt him in Percy in his heel". Percy has taken blunt force and concussive force to his back. The only damage shown to be able to actually break the curse is piercing damage. Lightning isn't piercing damage. Plus Percy can change the density of the water and easily use it as a shield. His constructs able to deal with flying gorgons quite easily. If Percy submerges then nobody is going to hurt him, at all. And there are plenty of feats of Percy being fast enough to dodge lightning. Do you want scenes?

He makes it to the last fight, An avatar state aang compared to Percy water manipulation might be a problem but he could just jump in the ocean and BFR aang via hurricane if it's big enough.

There's no lava, the fight is next to the ocean. Burying him in the earth would mean burying him in sand, which would be easy to get out of.

Sure, when he was in a volcano he almost died.

@arcus: And Percy's not exactly going to be twiddling his thumbs while Aang is splitting the earth open, and morals are on anyway. He's never done that in character.

@arcus: If Aang just sits there out of reach, he can't hurt Percy. In fact, burying him in the earth wouldn't grant Aang victory because Percy has geokinesis as well.

Aang cannot make a volcano explode. Even Roku in the avatar state couldn't do that.

Right, Percy has geokinesis...that he's only sorta used once, completely unintentionally and without any sort of control, and he's never used again.

This Avatar just erupted 4 volcanoes. Aang comes after him, meaning he's got his skills in the Avatar State

Stops at Ozai

He creates enough fire to deal with any sort of water Percy can control at once, and he's also way out of range with his flight. Percy can't even touch him. Also Percy won't kill humans or demigods, so there goes that advantage.

@jacthripper: Not really. Besides, his fire won't hurt Percy, and Percy could create a hurricane to block the fire anyway.

Percy will kill a human or demigod if he has to.

@arcus He made them erupt by pulling lava out. He didn't make it explode. Also, Roku had his hands full to the maximum trying to stop 1 volcano from erupting, even in the avatar state.

Yes, but he's never needed to. He never had to fight a human like Ozai.

Stopping a volcano is much more difficult than starting it. I'm not sure how that's anything other than erupting volcanoes

@logy5000: Except for during the Battle of NY, where he specifically made sure he didn't kill any opponent demigods himself. Anyways, Jason's Lightning isn't as powerful as bender lightning, when he channels Zeus' lightning it's great, but otherwise it's not impressive, it made a burning fire explode. Ozai can spam much more lightning that is much more dangerous.

Jason's lightning comes straight from the sky, and he shredded a building apart with it. Bender lightning never did anything like that.
