People Besides Doomsday Who Could Kill Superman W/O Kryptonite?

We all know it's been said that only kryptonite can work Superman down enough to kill him, but Doomsday has shown us otherwise. Who else could accomplish the feat of killing the Man of Steel without kryptonite?

off the top of my head? The Phoenix, any time traveler done correctly, Uber level telepaths (if they get a crack at him), High level magic users, maybe....MAYBE...Doom.

And if you mean people who can physically beat the sh*t out of Superman..then Sodam Yat.

People, or just anything in general? There's actually too many to name. Any highly skilled magic user, Darkseid, Spectre, any Green Lantern, Sinestro, Cyborg Superman, Anti-Monitor, Martian Manhunter, Mr. Mxy... etc.

Superman is supposed to be as vulnerable to magic as any person on the street, having no association with magic or magical roots. Meaning anyone with access to any sufficient magical equipment or a powerful magic user could kill him as simply as someone without any powers at all.

Of course, Superman has often been struck by magic (like Captain Marvel's lightning) and come out only slightly singed. Just because he's Superman. His vulnerability to magic seems to be only "on paper" and rarely in practice.

List is pretty long, but since I doubt you want us to post cosmic level characters I will only skyfather level and below, Marvel characters Thanos, Odin, Zeus, almost any skyfather, Onslaught, Silver Surfer post annihilation, Ymir, Surtur, Trion Juggernaut, DC characters Lobo, Darkseid, Despero, Starro, Sodam Yat, Ares, Black Adam

Let's get something straight: Captain Marvel is weaker, Supreme is weaker, Sodom yat, though close, is weaker, Mr. Majestic is weaker, Martian Manhunter is weaker, Pulsar is weaker, storm is weaker, captain atom is weaker, silver surfer is weaker, lobo is weaker, all green lanterns are weaker, wonderwoman is weaker, ms. marvel is weaker, gladiator is weaker, Icon is weaker, thor is weaker,etc. Supes has defeated Thor, captain Marvel, Mr. majestic, Wonderwoman, and lobo. Gladiator has been defeated by Thor, so he's out. Supes was barely taken out by a combined effort of ms. marvel, iron man, wonderman, and jack of hearts-after he put thor to sleep. Acceptable answers: Mr. Mxyzptlk, Spectre, living tribunal, bat-mite, kal kent (only if he fights our superman, not his time's superman), amazo, etc.

Some of those don't count, i said BEAT him to death.

@joshuagamer: Can you prove Supreme and Majestros are weaker? also, I mentioned Supreme due to his plot device power of developing any power in order to find an enemy's weakness.

Supes has never beaten Mr. Majestic, crossovers aren't canon regarding Thor, I'm pretty sure he hasn't beaten Lobo, and if he has, Lobo has beaten him as many. What do you mean he's taken out Ms. Marvel, Iron Man, Wonderman, and Jack of hearts? If that was the crossover, once again that isn't canon. I'm pretty sure he's only beaten CM once, and I'm pretty sure CM has beaten him once, as well. The two MM's aren't weaker, Supreme isn't weaker, Sodom Yat isn't weaker, Lobo isn't weaker, and I wouldn't say Thor is weaker.

thank you. GL's cant beat superman they havnt been able to construct kryptonite for awhile. plus the op says no krypto. plus not any magic user can beat him. he can speed blitz most magic users actually.

Sodam Yat without Ion isn't on Superman's level. He lacks the solar energy to put his Daxamite powers on Superman's level.

This list goes on and on and on. Remember, the question isn't who would beat Superman to death, it's who COULD beat Superman to death. And in a fight to the death, I think all of these characters could accomplish this feat at least 2-3 out of 10 battles.

I was just stating people who COULD kill him under reasonable circumstances (I mean Punisher could kill Superman if Superman was suffering from massive kryptonite poisoning, which is something I did just make up, and weakened to a point via magic where he permanently lost his super powers, however that's just stupid rationing), and I think with Cosmic Awareness, any of the Heralds should be capable of killing him at least 2-3 out of 10 battles. Except maybe Deadpool as a herald from that spoof comic, but that doesn't count!

Note: if you're using the most powerful version in Superman Prime One Million, uhh nobody other then Presence and TOAA, maybe Spectre. I just remember reading DC said he was top 3, 4 most powerful DCU characters lol. But I trust, we're using the regular Superman here lol.
