This is not a composite Human (a person with the strength and speed of everyone on earth combined).This is a peakest human (you take the best strength feat for lifting from the person who has lifted the most, the best skill feats from the best martial artist, the best speed feats from the fastest person, the best durability feats from the toughest fighter etc...

No. Say for example the most anybody has ever lifted (IRL) is 1500lbs, then that is the absolute most our peakest human can lift is 1500lbs.

If the highest weight ever lifted was recorded in 1765 then you can use it.

Be Specific About Fights

I think this is probably the most important rule, and when it’s followed, many other problems go away. When starting a battle you need to be specific about how everything is going to go down. This includes a lot of factors. A lot of posters just type "fighter 1 vs fighter 2, who wins?" and they're done. Putting just a little effort into it can sort out a lot of questions that pop up later. You can determine if the characters involved are acting in character (like they normally would as their personalities dictate), if they are “bloodlusted” or anywhere in between, how much time they get before the fight (prep), where they're fighting, what gear they have with them, which incarnation of the character, any power limitations, etc, etc. It really isn’t hard to flesh out the battle a little and it goes a long way.

When these things are left out it’s generally assumed that characters are fighting to the best of their ability but still within the limits of their personality, using their standard gear, have no prep time, and are their current mainstream versions at the time of the thread's conception.

@citizensentry: Ummm. Batman generally is thought of as the peakest human. Technically even his intelligence has to do with it. So the peakest human is only out matched by batmans gear which he still might have and maybe even better. This is like saying storm from xmen vs rogue after touching storm and mystique. Or the flash vs fastest man.

comic book batman is not the only version of batman out there, u know? So you cannot apply best feats of comic book version to other versions.
