Theoretically, Spectre should win.
Was Parallax in Zero hour not amped up? I mean he had all the energy from the green power battery (which was every green lanterns powers), and all the Guardians.
The entities seem to have been depowered now. They aren't as strong as ION Kyle hand of god or PARALLAX Hal hand of god.
I think people forget when Hal was Parallax or Kyle was ION for the first time they also had additives like the central power battery and guardians powers.

Yeah, but when do we really ever see that happen lol. Spectre consistently shows poor showings IMO. But as of lately the entities haven't impressed me all that much either.
Ion Kyle (without his Guardian amp up, and central power battery amp up) got kidnapped by the Sinestro corps. He got owned rather quickly! Entities are now overrated, the light on them has been truly shown.
@SlimJ87D: You're right, back before the Battery and Guardians were restored, Parallax/Ion were also slinging around the added power of the Central Battery and all the Guardians, so yeah, that would explain some things. Also, my understanding is that Ion's power at the time was derived from the remnants of Parallax anyway.
Yeah, I'm not sure how well current Parallax would do without the Guardian/Battery amp; I think the Spectre gave him a bit of a rough time during Zero Hour, so I would guess not very well.
I agree that emotional entities are much lesser threats on their own (based on constant retcons), but I assume that for the purposes of this fight, Parallax is at his ZH levels; otherwise it is rather pointless.

What about if he didn't have the battery and Guardian amp ups?

I was thinking about making this very battle, but I was a good little ComicVine forum member and actually used the search function, and TAH-DUH! I was a little confused too. Spectre vs Parallax and no replies for over 3 years. Sure, this battle took place in the actual comics, but there's obviously plenty of room for debate.
I like Spectre better, but Parallax had more power when they fought. Both are awesome, and there are points in the comics where Spectre could take Parallax.
@SlimJ87D:It depends on the version of the Spectre, since, despite me liking Crispus, writers use him terribly to the point he barely has any solid feats. But it is kind of a no brainer than Spectre should win, at remotely competent levels.
Hal as Parallax did face off against the Black Lantern version of the Spectre, and beat him (no enhancements were involved), but it is safe to assume the Spectre was not operating at its peak.

Well Hal Parallax would own Spectre hard.
He had the central power battery, along with the Guardians of the Universes all into one person. The only way Spectre Hal could win is PIS via the other Hal resisting Parallax's influence through will power.
Spectre can only stalemate the entities like what happened when he tried to fight The Butcher. If its Zero Hour then it goes to Parallax if current, its stalemate.
