OWAW Doomsday beat up some Imperiex Drones before getting oneshotted by Imperiex, right? It's been a few years since I read OWAW.
I mean I guess getting beat by Imperiex isn't anything to be ashamed of, and otherwise that was typical Doomsday. I'll give it to Ares in a close fight cuz of magical weaponry and superior fighting ability. If it were H/P plot device Doomsday then he'd have a shot.
He also tore through Mongul and Steel among others, iirc. Yeah, Imperiex did frag him, but Imperiex is galactic. And those probes were pretty durable and Doomsday was tearing through them like tissue paper. In space.
