vs

Thor has thor force. No banishing into other dimensions. Who wins and why.

#2 Posted by Satyrquaze (4536 posts) - - Show Bio

Thor wins becasue he and Silver Surfer are on roughly the same level and Surfer absolutely pwned Orion in the Galactus/Darkseid crossover.

Satyrquaze says:

I always thought that quite biased but there you go.

As this includes the Thor Force, I would say that Thor wins.

crossovers are not canon.

You could also say that Orion goes toe to toe with Superman and Superman beat Thor in JLA/Avengers. Orion ftw.

Orion has beaten Superman before... and physically Orion is on par if not greater than Superman... physically Thor is not on par with Superman unless he uses Thor or Odin Force to enhance his power...

this is classic thor he can spin his hammer on his finger that is power......

Orion FTW.

Thor has nothing that can hurt him.

Orion might got this

#24 Posted by ThaMessenger07 (1864 posts) - - Show Bio

Tough but I would Say Thor. He has enough raw power and after realizing how strong Orion is I'm sure he would use some serious Blast.

Orion harnesses the Astro force (wrath of the source). He could use this to put up a force field that could block and or deflect any energy blast Thor has to throw at him. He can also use this to to throw a "blast" of his own at Thor.

Astro force = Omega force.

I still have yet to see why Thor force or Odin force for that matter is more powerful in any way.

Orion ftw.

Not really, no.

Proof?

I'm going with Orion in this battle as well but I doubt his Astro force is as powerful as Darkseid's omega force at all. Darkseid only lets Orion beat him because he has some other scheme which involves Orion seemingly killing him.

@AtPhantom:

Astro force is supposed to be the equal and opposite of the Omega force, both equal in power.

I never said that Orion has the ability to use the Astro force with the same efficiency DS can use the Omega force.

Meaning that what you said had no relation to the thread whatsoever.

Astro-omega relation is overstated. Orion is Darkseid's nemesis, but he is not his polar opposite. That would be Highfather, and he has his own Alpha force to play with.

@King Saturn:
 Superhuman Strength: Being the son of Odin and the elder goddess Gaea, Thor is physically the strongest of the Norse gods and one of the most powerful beings in the Universe. He easily lifted a million tons, proved able to crumble uru into dust, destroyed Silver Surfer's force-field with a single strike, knocked out a well hydrated Namor, defeated the Gladiator and knocked him unconscious, rendered the Abomination unconscious with a single blow, matched Savage Hulk's strength for an entire hour (while Hulk was getting stronger and stronger and still he couldn't overpower Thor), stalemated Hercules in a strength contest, and lifted the Midgard Serpent, who was so large that it could coil around the entire planet Earth from head to tail multiple times over and crush it in its grip.

He could also crush entire moons in his fists, and even shatter small planetoids with the force of his blows. When he went insane, Thor struck Beta Ray Bill with such force that he destroyed the small planetoid they were on. He has even broken through the armor of a Celestial in one blow. All these feats have established Thor as one of, if not the, mightiest beings in Earth. His strength is matched only by powerhouses like Hercules, the Hulk, or the Sentry, and it surpasses that of heroes like Gladiator. If pressed in battle, Thor is capable of entering into a state of Berserker Rage known as Warrior's Madness, which will temporarily increase his strength tenfold.

You are right, the Astro-Omega relation was overstated by me. The only relation is the users being family and the maximum power output of both forces being roughly equal. The “Astro-force” is direct source energy “wrath of the source” so it’s called. It has plenty of relation to this thread, Orion has used the "Astro-force" for energy shielding against high end energy attacks, including the "Omega effect". This could be used for defense against a so called "God blast" from Thor. He can also channel it through his bands to produce a “God blast” of his own.

That's probably because when the crossover was just an idea between Marvel and DC, aparently DC had a bunch of rediculous demands...
Heh, figures... Not only do they have the lamest characters, but they have to demand their characters win in crossovers. lol

Dude the crossover had Venom beating Superman up if you think DC are egomaniacs then Marvel must be bordering on insanity i think its the other way around
