Dr. Fate should win here... but this would be a hell of a fight.
Orion with the Astro Force should be able to test this Mystical Master... but in the end Fate should win here still.
@Nefarious: There are a few "new Earth" versions.
Eric Straus / Linda Straus merged Dr fate Not far behind Classic in poser the tellign difference being experience, and the two hosts made it harder for Nabu to impose complete controll
Eric Straus Fate - had teh training but only a child emotionally struggled to cope with aspects of the power.
Linda Straus Fate - Intuition based in the use of power, more natural but not as "destructive" less formal training.
Inza Neslon Fate ( the Classic's Wife as Host) Much like Linda but power and application VERY different (powered by Chaos instead of Order0
Hector Carter Fate - Second in power only to Classic, had elements of inexperience but only briefly
and finally Kent V Nelson Fate - Prior to the darkness engine saga the least experienced and trained, after arguably on Hector/ near Classic level.
That being the case I'll say fate wins. It's abc logic but the Straus fate bested ( with plot and it's been retconned to be an impersonator) Darkseid. DS regularly gets the better of his son. Hector for the most part being more directly connected to the Nabu entity was better than Straus
