Who wins?
Actually they are nearly identical
Colt Python says:
"acewasp23 says:infused that with his matrix he would be near limitless but I say the X-men are nearly in the same situation the Autobots are in currently."i dont know with the power ring i think prime could win. "well now learning what the ring can ACTUALLY do I agree.I don't think any Marvel character could beat Optimus with the Ring.If regular guys become overly powerful with the ring i am sure Optimus who his probably the most powerful thing in his universe is even more powerful."
I thoguht they should have had a Transformers/X-men crossover then a New avengers/Trnasformers because of the idea of them thinking theyre sentinels and what not.
Can the GL power ring make you impervious to magnetism?
King of Kings says:
"Magneto rips Prime in half before he can even think of something to do with the ring."
What he said.
Pretty much sums it up. This wasnt even a fight.
2 things.
A. Methos explained (in detail) that a GL ring can't work with Prime, I forgot why, but ask him.
B. Magneto is the master of magnetism and controls all metal. He crushes Prime like paper before he knows it. Next battle not involving a transformer please.
Even if the ring did work magneto would just use his magnetism to rip off primes finger and take the ring for himself
Eternal Chaos says:

The ring isnt supposed to work with robots, even sentient ones, I believe. I think the premise was that they think in machine code and so their thoughts register as gibberish to the rings.

Ah, thank you for refreshing my memory.
Methos says:
"*wanders in... notices the post title...* **ARGHHHH!!!!!** *runs screaming back out* M"
Laughs hysterically

We have looked at this before and it was pointed out that the Corps has included at least one robotic species, Grendans (Stel's species). Robots that can be considered sentient can use a ring. If you think about the variety of alien species within the Corps, there is no way they all think in the same way.

"
But it was also shown that at least some robots were unable to use the ring so I think it is debatable whether Prime can or not.
He has organic Kryptonian parts. He used that idea to allow the Manhunters to access the rings' energy. Transformers are closer to Stel than the Manhunters in that they are both robotic species capable of independant thought rather than machines built to follow someone else's orders as the Manhunters were.
Forever says:
"Gottheit says:"Yep. But don't be fooled by his name, sarcastic vato, he is now much more machine then man."But still part man, no?"
Appears and points at Gottheit
Gotcha bitch!
Not enough to be able to use a Power Ring. But he does. So...wow. And, plus, this is stupid. If they REALLY, REALLY wanted Optimus Prime to be a Lantern, they'd find some way to bypass the rule, or make a special ring, or something. This is comics. Nothing is absolute.
There are microbes and planets and cities that are part of the two corpses (corpi?), a robot isn't that big a stretch.
