Onslaught vs Shuma Gorath

This is an encounter where Onslaught is prepped with knowing who Shuma Gorath is and its mean nature. He is prepared to take it out with full force. Shuma is minding its own business at first but will defend itself after Onslaught fires its initial attacks. 
 
Battle is in Tokyo, Japan.

Anyone saying Shuma-Gorath gets defeated by Onslaught is either trolling or completely ignorant. I special ordered every issue with Shuma-Gorath in it a few months ago because I'm a big Dr. Strange fan, and there is no way one can state that Shuma simply has 'limited psychic-like abilities' or even imply that after reading the arc and other appearances. 
 
Onslaught gets slaughtered and it really isn't a debatable topic because no argument will be good enough to suggest he can defeat one of the highest ranking chaos lords.

Shuma for a decent win.  Onslaught was only  a planetery threat, he'd still have issues with Galactus if he'd rock up.  It took classic strange with quite some help just to hold back and bfr Shuma in the end! Shuma entering our realm is not a good thing.  Onslaught only ever endangered the Earth, not the unvierse!  

Reality Warpers or not, Shuma will win.

I think Shuma would take this. Although, not sure how much of a fight Onslaught would be if he had Franklin Richards and  Nate Grey powering him.

Shuma wins for the reasons Cort stated earlier. 

The only way Shuma-Gorath has a chance is if the battle takes place in his dimension. But even then it is very very difficult for Shuma-Gorath to come out on top. Onslaught completely stomps in any other scenario and even in SG's dimension IMO.  
 
Shuma-Gorath has been defeated by Doctor Strange twice. Onslaught would and could never be defeated by just Doctor Strange.
 
I'm talking about a full powered Onslaught of course...

Shuma-Gorath takes it in his dimension.  But in any other scenario Onslaught takes this.

Strange defeated Shuma-Gorath by sealing him away from the 616-universe in destroying the Ancient One's ego.

The second time he did it, he was amped with powers that would quite literally and easily annihilate Onslaught.

Shuma takes this anywhere.

Absolutely none. Gorath has limited psychic-like abilities whereas Onslaught is practically master of all that is. Only reason I say slight difficulties for Onslaught is because apparently Shuma can reform from destruction. But, it it's a one KO for the win then Onslaught easily.

So many wrong statements in so short a post, and on top of that, you contradicted yourself in your first two sentences. Bravo.

The Vishanti, who is far above Onslaught, failed to destroy Shuma outside his realm. And a fraction of Shuma's powers could subconsciously destroy galaxies.

And to top that, his telepathy was powerful enough for him to extrude into the mind of the Ancient One from 1000+ planes of existence away. That is far above anything Onslaught has ever done.

Shuma takes this in a stomp. A brutal, horrible stomp.
