• Random encounter.
• No infighting for the Sith.
• Fight takes place in the Petranaki Arena.
• Teams start 40 feet apart.
• Win by death or KO.

Which team wins and why?

Probably Jedi team.

Jedi masters. I was never overly Impress with Strife or Nihl for that matter. Krayt himself is likely Obi Wan equal, and Talon not far off, but Kit Fisto and Mace are better than that.

Team 2 are overall much more skilled.

Anyways:

Krayt VS Mace - Krayt wins. He's both physically and in the Force superior to Mace, and he's skilled enough to compete.

Nihl VS Saesee - Probably Nihl. The difference between them as duelists isn't that big, and the gap between them as Force users is more noticeable.

Talon VS Kit - could go either way. Talon sports a Force edge, and Kit sports a dueling edge with similar certainty.

Stryfe VS Agen - Agen wins. He's better in pretty much every category.

Overall, Team 1 should win. They can very much hold their own in a lightsaber duel and exceed their allies in Force usage and physically.

Yup.

Team 1 would win, they have the (close) dueling edge, force abillities edge and would kill the Jedi at a moments notice while the Jedi would try to catch and imprison them.

Skill goes to team 2 every time. Mace takes down Krayt following an excellent fight, while Agen beats Nihl, Kit takes Talon/Stryfe, and Saesee the other.

This is dueling only.

With the rules as it is, Team 2 take it handily.

What if all abilities were allowed?

The Jedi should win. I imagine that any of them can take out Darth Talon and Darth Stryfe; Kit Fisto stands a good chance of defeating Darth Nihl, and Mace Windu can either defeat Darth Krayt or hold his own against him in a drawn-out duel. At least one or two of the weaker Sith are probably going to fall before Windu is placed in serious trouble, and at this point the Jedi have a numerical advantage.

Team 2 in a good fight if this is sabers only. But if this is all out, Krayt does this to the team:

Mace > Krayt > Nihl ~ Kit > Agen ~ Talon >/~ Saesee > Stryfe.

It is debatable whether Krayt even beats Mace with the force, let alone stomps the whole Jedi team.

If one doesn't subscribe to Maceous scaling, then yes, Krayt does indeed solo this entire team in all-out.

It is not only the Maceous scaling though. Mace has repeatedly been equated to Yoda in ability, by many quotes.

And of course, he is more powerful even in TPM, than any ancient Jedi, so that counts for a lot.

The lack of high tier feats on his part is the only thing hurting him here in these boards.

@lordofthelight: What objective quote say he's Yoda's equal? I only managed to find one, and then there's many others that state Yoda's both more powerful and more skilled.

Team Jedi definitely. Not sure who'd win all-out though.

Mace has only been listed alongside Yoda. That does not mean he is equal to him.

Bane+Malak were listed alongside Sidious. That does not mean they are equal to Sidious.

Jedi win pretty handily in a duel. But in an all out fight, I think the Sith team wins pretty easily.

now that you bring it up, dark transfer would be an interesting wild card here, even in sabers only. If krayt simply targets weak links with dark transfer, we could see a change of circumstances here.

Jedi Masters

Jedi. Krayt and Mace are evenly matched in power, but Mace has the edge in saber skill. Tiin and Fisto are both superior to the rest of the One Sith, and Kolar is no slouch himself.

I don't even remember how strong the other Sith but if they're anything like Krayt, they solo

Dunno why people think the jedi are winning here. Mace barely beat ep 3 sidious that just got out the ring with the other 3 who all got slaughtered by that same sidious

Agreed. Seems an accurate scaling, Kit probably beats Nihl though.

About 20 sources would disagree with you, unless you mean only Krayt > ROTS Sidious, which is arguable.
