Red
omega red vs Gambit (Death)
" @texasdeathmatch: he can make the air in deadly gas. inject viruses in people can control minds when toutching them or hit by a card. he can also trow cards when hit you will be absorbed by the card. He remains his normal powers too i guess use the search function than type gambit and search for his death powers "haha thanks for the info. I'm pretty sure I've gotten familiar with using the search function at this point, I just wanted to hear first hand knowledge about him.
" We don't know the specific details of his powers. Right now, we know he can use his cards to turn his foes "evil" and join forces with him. I think we need to learn more about that ability before being able to give an outcome here. "Wouldn't that work to his benefit against Red?

Turning them evil isn't the critical part. If that were the only aspect of the power it would have no real change on Omega Red's actions and he would continue to wipe the floor with Gambit. The part that makes me question the outcome is how those hit by his attack join forces with him. But what we have yet to see is, to what extent? Will they blindly follow his command without question? If so, Omega Red wouldn't attack him and Gambit could eventually defeat him. If it only controls him for a short period of time, it's less likely Gambit can inflict significant damage to pull the victory. Unfortunately, we've only JUST seen him use this ability and I've posted the scans above as to what they do.
The underlined part was what I was getting at." @Morpheus_ said:

LOL, at the Gambit army.
Not sure of the extent of Gambits new powers, but Omega Red took on Wolverine, Colossus and Nightcrawler at the same time. He only lost because Nightcrawler teleported him up into the atmosphere then dropped him for the KO. He was able to toss Colossus around like he was nothing and laughed when Wolverine stuck him through the lungs. I think his healing factor and death spores should be enough to beat Gambit.

That's the only part that matters in the debate. Without them, it's an obvious stomp. The dispute is on exactly how Gambit's new abilities function.
