I don't really think DC is overpowered at all, Marvel has equally powerful characters, they just aren't that popular and people don't give a crap about them.

Thor vs Alan Scott - Alan,Mjolnir wouldn't be able to overcome Starheart

Iron Man vs Flash (Jay Garrick) - Flash,even with the enhancements Strak wouldn't be able to hit Flash,even now that he's capable to acess the Speedforce.

Captain America Vs Wildcat- Cap can be more trained in martial arts than Ted,but Ted has a edge with durability,speed and strength. He already defeated Grundy wityh bare hands.

DC characters are not overpowered and silly, at least not more than Marvel. Marvel has their fair share of overpowered characters too.
