Odin Vs Volthoom (first lantern)

This was just something that a friend and i came up with.

Volthoom, just after being released from his prison on Oa, is sent to the marvel universe and ends up on Asguard. There, he tries to take control of the world, and the all-father himself steps up to take him down.

Round 1:

• Volthoom is from just after his release from oa
• Standard gear for odin

Round 2:

• Volthoom has one of every power ring
• Odin has the destroyer armor and the odin sword

fight takes place on asguard.

No outside help for either side

both are in character, but are taking the fight seriously

fight won by any means except BFR

They start 100 meters appart

who is the more powerful god?

Isn't Volthoom a reality bender and can only be killed by white/black ring(I forget)?

IIRC it took a Nekron possessed Hal to put Volthoom down, and Volthoom had crazy reality manip abilities too. I'm thinking Volthoom gives the oldman trouble in both rounds but eventually loses.

Volthoom's control over the emotional spectrum is so profound that his spirits will continue to exist even after having its host removed by Nekron. Odin requires a year's sleep to replenish his powers. This will be prove disastrous for Odin! Volthoom's telepathy, reality warping, and emotional abilities will trump Odin's weapons, magic, and physical attributes with some troubles! Volthoom's control over the emotional spectrum is so profound that he could take control, manipulate, and destroy Asgard, force Asgardians to follow his requests, and defeat Odin all at once. Odin's force fields might not even be enough to protect himself or Asgard against Volthoom's powers, but it can protect him just enough to teleport to safety. There doesn't exist anything within Odin's arsenals that would slow down, stop, or even put down Volthoom. Trapping him won't do anything since all sentient beings has emotions, which is what Volthoom feeds off and is empowered by it.

I'll even it up by saying Odin because powerful as he was volthoom was hurt by herald level foes Odin wouldn't

Does Volthoom have any defenses against Time Manipulation?? Or entrapment ??

odin is many times more powerful than anyone with a reason to take a gl srsly. and its asGARD, not "guard". gard in old norse was like yard/garden. referring to heaven, the uppermost level of the universe, with the sun above. a perpetually verdant realm that only became cold and snowy with the onset of fimbulvetr. sry 2 be that guy but u know how it is
