The Stranger is well above Odin, and while he lacks feats; he is near Galactus level/Galactus level.
He created Ego and an alter Ego, who by himself has scared Galactus before; and is above Odin, so Stranger>>Ego>>Odin.
Thor even admitted that the Stranger would be a too big of a threat for even Asgard, which includes Odin.
@Killmall made a respect thread for the Stranger, a Sky-father like Odin doesn't stand a chance against the Stranger.
@jagernutt: The Collector is an Elder, and was around from the start of this universe, but has very limited feats as well; he and the others Elders all together are below the Cosmic cube, but whether individually the Collector is above Odin, I am not sure.
@jagernutt: Collector was scared to fight Classic Thanos one on one.Overall,he doesn't stack up here.
@jagernutt: Thanks.
Based on feats it goes like this. Odin > Collector > Stranger.
Based on implied power levels, it would be: Stranger > Odin > Collector.
However it bears noting that the Collector is immortal thanks to Grandmaster having the Elders of the Universe barred from Death's realm.
When was Collector afraid to Thanos? The only instance I recall of any potential drama between them was in the Rebirth Of Thanos, where Thanos asked the Collector if he would rather fight him or do business instead for the Reality Gem. The Collector chose to do business with Thanos believing the Gem to be a worthless rock.
@ordinaryalan: Read my post, or read @Killmall respect thread on him.
Due to the fact that even Thor stated that the Stranger would be to much for the whole of Asgard, which includes Odin, is enough.
Creating Ego, who is above Odin, is also another clear indication of him being more powerful.
He might have been the 4th face of the Living Tribunal, he is that powerful; however was turned down by the Living Tribunal.

Yes, I'm aware. I'm simply saying that Odin has a much wider array of feats than Stranger. But by perceived power levels, I agree the Stranger is more powerful. I mean the Stranger was among the cosmic deities who tried to stop Thanos during the Infinity Gauntlet Saga. Didn't see Odin anywhere near there.
Thanos created Omega.
Enough said.
@jagernutt: Avengers #124
@xiix: Tales to Astonish 89
Stranger meets Bruce Banner, puts him in an energy field motionless. Stranger has been watching earth for a long time and he is not impressed with how human being are so he decided to destroy most of humans and start the planet anew , better than before. For that he has choose the Hulk. Once Bruce Banner turns hulk he is capable of breaking the hold Stranger has Bruce in, then Hulk is attacked by enough energy to change planet's orbit, Hulk still resist. Stranger than increase the power even more, Hulk can no longer resists and falls on the ground. Hulk is then mind-washed and sent on a rampage destruction course.
He owns Magneto, and takes toad as well, to study on the mutants.
Thor 178
Abomination, who is locked in Stranger's planet , seeing stranger leaves and is playing around with Stranger's computer to find a way to reach home (i.e. earth). He pressess a button that transports Thor to Stranger's planet. Abomination makes Thor help him free the others, Stranger arrives, they fight for a short time and Thor realises Stranger is too power. So he teleports away within the Stranger planet. Thor knows that if he now runs away Stranger will follow him all the way to Asgard and Thor believes that kind of power is too much even for Asgard to face. So he turns back time and leaves before agreeing to help Abomination.
Silver Surfer vol 1 05
Stranger wants to destroy all life on Earth because he belives those are unworthy, and for that he has brought a null bomb. Silver Surfer stands in his way, Stranger and Silver Surfer fight, they seem pretty even in the fight, but Al B. Harper managed to sacrifice himself to stop the null bomb. Seeing a man sacrifice his life for Other Stranger is force to judge the planet worthy and leaves.
Silver Surfer vol 3 27
Stranger comes to Hala in order to take S'Byll because she is a mutant skrull, and Stranger loves to study mutant. He is opposed by Silver Sufer whose power cosmic Stranger easily negates.
Then Superskrull tries to fight Stranger he loses as well. Silver Surfer has regain his powers back and he opposes Stranger once again. They fight for a while with no clear winner but Reptyl decides to give his crew members in exchange for Skrull queen S'Byll. Thus after agreeing on that bargain Stranger leaves.
Champion 12
So Stranger comes to earth in order to warn heroes that a null bomb that he left on earth, which is about to activate and has the ability to first encase the entire star system in an energy sphere and contract thereby crushing everything within, heroes dont listen to him and start to fight him. Dark Star tries to blind him with Darkforce she fails. Iceman, Angel , Hercules , Black Widow and Ghost Rider together fight him for a few time, then finally realise Stranger is telling the truth but its too late since the bomb has already activated.
Champion 13
So Stranger physically hold back the power of null bomb till Dark Star gets the Runestaff of Kamo Tharn, and using its power cause the bomb to expand forever meaning it would just expand and not contract saving the problem.
Alongside Thing and Hulk Stranger teleports to Hades, not Mephisto's Hades, but Pluto Hades. Why do they have a realm that has the same name.. we shall never know
Avengers vol 1 317
This issue pretty much potrays Stranger as being similar to Galactus just in a smaller scale, why do i say then well we'll see eventually :)
Firstly Stranger comes to Avengers ship, take Nebula with him, and totally ignore the Avengers as if they were insignificant to him, well they probably were.
Galactus has a spaceship that dwarfs planets, his ship is roughly the size of Argentina
Galactus has punishers, Stranger does too, but they are called Blockade
Galactus has a powerful device that can nullify the whole multiverse, Ultimate Nullifier, Stranger has infinity unison which can channel ALL the energies in the universe to a person. More on Infinity Unison below.
Avengers 318
Nebula manages to harness the power of the Infinity Union, growing huge in size and being a lot more powerful. She then proceeds to stomp Stranger again and again. Then she does a rookie mistake, she leaves the defeated Stranger and begins to toy with the Avengers when Stranger finally manages to locate the Infinity Union, block Nebula from accessing its power and then Nebula is defeated by the Avengers.
Starblast 04: Teleported a planet away.
Astonishing Thor 01: Stranger is revealed as the creator of Ego, the living planet.
Astonishing Thor 03: Stranger is shown creating Ego and Alter-Ego.
@jagernutt: He is, but because you fear someone; it doesn't mean you can't beat them.
Also Ego the living planet, which the Stranger created; is also an elder, like the Collector.
Thanos killed the elders of Universe will the Cosmic Cube, which included the Collector and Ego the Living Planet.
@kingant27: I've seen the chronology thread you copied and pasted that from.
Still waiting on combat-feats for him that suggest he'd beat Odin..............
Im not saying whos more powerful or not, the cosmic cube is an artifact and I also believe very firmly that when comes to Marvel cosmic beings, showings are extremely inconsistent.
@kingant27: lol i remember Michael Korvac killing the Collector with 1 bolt... lets tone back on the Collector being Galactus lvl
To be perfectly fair. I never fully considered any involved in this battle equal to Galactus.
But the real question since you brought Michael Corvak is how does he stack up against Galactus.
@jagernutt: he doesnt thats the point... if the collector was destroyed by Korvac how is he in Galactus' tier
Maybe I wasn't clear enough.
How does Michael Korvac stack up compared to Galactus.
Is Galactus superior to Korvac?
@kingant27: That's right. Thanos is not only below Galactus, but below Odin as well, and created a being more powerful than both AKA the Thanosi known as Omega.
So that don't mean jack unless proven otherwise, because you're basically saying "The circumstances don't matter, Thanos created someone more powerful than Galactus, so Thanos MUST be more powerful than Galactus".
@jagernutt: It's not so much a "counter-argument" as "what're Stranger's feats that suggest he's of that tier combatively".
Think of it more as an 'inquiry' if you'd like.
Everyone knows Odin's feats.
@xiix: The Stranger is still way above Odin, it's like saying a very highly fed Galactus can loose to Odin; I don't think Odin is powerful enough to be considered the 4th face of the Living Tribunal.
@serrure: I never stated the Colector was Galactus level, wheat are you taking about; read my post.
@kingant27: So no combat feats that suggest he'd beat him.
Got it.
Odin stomps.
Odin already fought eternity before.
How would the collector or the stranger deal with someone on par with Eternity. haha
@kingant27: No.
Because he has better feats(combatively).
Odin stomps.
Odin already fought eternity before.
How would the collector or the stranger deal with someone on par with Eternity. haha
Odin is nowhere as powerful as Eternity.
@kingant27: The One Above All is clarified as being the single most powerful being in the entirety of Marvel in every reference ever classifying it. A portion of it's power(The Heart of The Universe) vastly exceeded the combined forces of Marvel's most powerful beings, to the point where it wasn't even a contest.
Terrible example.
Oh, and since you keep parroting the fact that he "created Ego", Stranger himself admitted that the "enormity of the undertaking was beyond his independent means", and required assistance from The Collector(who afterwards stipulated that he create another living planet for his collection).
Stranger also replicates the powers of the preretcon Beyonder (though nowhere near as thoroughly) in the mini-series "Beyond!" but above any showings of reality manipulation by Galactus using the Power Cosmic, though that isn't an aspect of its nature and use. In the Marvel canon, the abstracts all balance one another, even though it appears to follow a hierarchy of top tier (Living Tribunal/Eternity/Death/Infinity), the mid-tier (Galactus/In-Betweener/Proemial Gods/Celestials) and bottom tier abstracts (Epoch/Phoenix Force/the Vishanti). I would say they all function to their original design and have counters for one another that eliminate any absolute superiority of any one over another. Eternity and Adam Warlock with the six Infinity Gems have both been bound to the rulings of the Living Tribunal and Galactus was threatened by the multiversal guardian Roma against using the Ultimate Nullifier to destroy the Phoenix Force, at the time being hosted by Rachel Summers and who was holding ground against a partially-fed Galactus, leading to his following course of action. So even if they specialize in a certain realm unmatched, the abstracts balance that with a flaw. Galactus has to exist to destroy planets or else Abraxas takes form and massacres galaxies, throwing the life-death equation off axis, and so the Celestials judge the planets most fit to continue to exist and these planets have the potential to develop the means to defend themselves against destruction. But none of this is about Galactus except to associate the Stranger as a mid-tier abstract and the fourth face of the Living Tribunal (though he turned the role down), and a mid-tier abstracts trump top tier skyfathers (Odin who has lost to Galactus more than once unless amplified) and top tier energy manipulators (the Collector like each member of the Elders of the Universe is so ancient that he stores residual energies from the Big Bang and then single-mindedly channels them towards an eternal obsession (this is more direct in the Champion's case (another elder) but this is the same reasoning behind why Thanos was able to outmaneuver them and steal away each member's Infinity Gem, the elders were too familiar with channelling energy constantly in their endless existences (since they are barred from Death's realm they cannot truly end in existence, according to good writers). The Collector constantly occupies a more humanoid form at all times. The Collector is on par with base-level Thanos, who has held his ground against Odin only with power amplification and superior intellect, so ABC reasoning: Collector = Thanos < Odin < Galactus =/> the Stranger when all characters are at standard showings. Regardless, no character could curbstomp, all would go down swinging and none of them eternally, since all are varying degrees of immortal.
