Sun peed on Odin's flowers. Odin, angry at the atrocity, wanted to kill the monkey. King of Asgard vs the great Sage equaling Heaven.
  
Battlefield: Starts in Asgard. 
No BFR. 
Odin has Gungir. 
This is Sun BEFORE he became Omnipotent. 
 
Who wins?

He never became omnipotent. And really Odin will be hard pressed to slay the monkey. You and I both know Wu Kong technically "cannot die".

@Daydream: Odin doesnt need to kill Sun to beat him,  There  is also KO, since it isnt stated the  it is to the death, But Im not saying that Odin wins Im still undecided...

Well the OP does say Odin wanted to kill him. But anyways, if Sun Wu Kong came to the Marvel U and pissed on Odin's garden, then he'd get stomped.

Sun Wu Koong destroys Odin and all of Asgard with ease, the same way he destroyed the Chinese version of Asgard, and it's Odin-equivalent (the Lord of Heaven) had to call Buddha in to help stop him.

Seriously, Wukong of myth has got better feats than Odin of myth. So if he were to go to Marvel with proportional power amp as with the other pantheons, he'll own Odin.

Mythological Odin was reality warper (creating the Earth out of the sea or Ymir's dead body) and could see past, present, and future. Odin was also master of trickery. His feats are so random its hard to say what his power set is.

@Malonius: I really should shutup in regards to mythologies I am ignorant about before I make a fool of myself.. Nyehehehe! All I knew was that he was this Gandalf-ish being on earth and a badass viking up in Valhala that commanded the likes of Thor and such. Thanks for the correction then.

@ssejllenrad: I had to look up Sun Wukong since I'd never heard of him. Eastern deities get pretty abstract compared to what we're used to hearing about from Greek and Norse mythology so I have no idea who'd win this battle. In the East there's many spiritual levels above what we think of as gods and demons.

Actually it would be interesting to see a marvel version of wukong. Since the lord of heaven has been shown to be a member of the sky fathers,and in the story wukong kicked his butt, it would be interesting to see what power he would have overall.

If we are going with the Sun Wukong from the classic Chinese Epic Journey To The West, than I will have to point out that in the novel after Sun Wukong ticked of The Jade Emperor, The jade Emperor sent an army of God's to bring him down, and they failed miserably.  No disrespect to Odin but the Monkey King has this.

I'll make some scans. The design was actually kind of cool. He's not full on monkey man, but he's a decent character. Can't wait to see him in action.

I'll make some scans. The design was actually kind of cool. He's not full on monkey man, but he's a decent character. Can't wait to see him in action.
It will be a shame that he is being powered down so much,but as long as he is the same basic character it could work. So he hasn't fought yet?
