Why is DC Ares so low? Odin stops there. DC Ares w/Godwave has multiverse power.

@marvelfan123: Ares would pretty much be above, anyone here on the list who doesn't have multiverse power.

Odin surely stops at 7, though I have no knowledge on what DC Ares is capable of.

No. There is no evidence whatsoever that Thanos & Darkseid can beat Odin.

@uberhikari: Thanos alone has given Odin hell.

No he hasn't. If you're talking about Infinity Watch #25 Thanos managed to do absolutely nothing but get his ass kicked for the entire fight. Thanos never harmed Odin at all but he took one hell of a beating.

Stops at 7 or 8. I don't recall Ares having exhibited combat feats to suggest he'd beat Odin.

@killemall: Comic sources?

That hardly answers my question. I am asking what particular feat, what particular statement gave you the indication that Ares with Godwave was multiversal powerhouse?

DC Ares is above Odin. He rules 2 realms comfortable and is a multiversal being.

Darkseid is not Ares lesser so where did everyone get the notion DS is below Odin is baffling unless this is an avatar of the true DS.

@killemall:

The energy from the Godwave re-creating all of reality in an instant.

The Speed Force(which in the last panel is everywhere, every dimension, every universe etc etc), Quantum Field, all the forces are apart of the Godwave.

And before anyone asks, Ares was defeated with the Godwave via plot device, but what else is new for him(which...was rather stupid I might add).

He makes it too, and possibly stops, at 5.

But I doubt he'll be going past 6.

Thanks for reading,

@uberhikari: Yes I am referring to that incident. It seemed like Thanos got in a few good attacks against Odin. Odin even said that it had been eons since he had to exert himself like that.

No he did not. Here's the entire exchange:

The only thing Thanos's attacks did was make Odin angrier; they didn't hurt him in the least.
